This 30 minute yoga practice is a rather active and dynamic flow for the health of your hips. We will start with a targeted warm up, followed by strength exercises for glute muscles activation, hip mobility movements and finally some sweet hip stretches. You will feel amazing afterwards and your hips will be grateful.
Poses that you can expect in this practice: malasana and some of its variations, active lunges, lizard lunge holds, goddess pose holds, butterfly, reclined pigeon and some others. We will explore some unique variations of these traditional yoga asanas for better muscle activation and stretching.
Movements included into this practice are vitally important for our overall health. It is a rather common situation that 21 century people have weak and tight glutes, inner thighs and hips that do not move. All of that can become a reason for back pain, knee injuries and other health related problems. Take care of your body and your healthy future by exercising on a regular basis and moving in a mindful way as you look for balance between strength, flexibility and mobility.
Get comfy, get ready and as you begin on this beautiful journey take it slow, listen to your own body and be patient.
