Doesn't it just feel so good to STOP everything and crawl into bed?!
Withdrawing your senses from the outer world, and letting go of that last little bit of muscular tension as you slip down into progressively deeper states of absolutely perfect physical and mental relaxation?
Now you can use this guided yoga nidra for sleep session to quickly and effortlessly fall asleep any time you choose, enjoying deeper and better quality of sleep than ever.
Or you may wish to use this as a meditation tool to explore the eight major chakras and the five tattwas (elements). Of course, this is the 21st Century, so you are free to do both!! Hari Om

That was wonderful. I enjoyed the two full rounds of the body scan as well as the focus on the points of contact at the very beginning. The visualizations at each one of the chakras was very relaxing and engaging at the same time. The only things that were missing were more time for mental alternate nostril breathing (the breath awareness portion felt a bit rushed compared to the recent prana nidras with a heavy emphasis on Ujjayi pranayama) and restating the Sankalpa at the end. I know this yoga nidra was specifically designed for sleep, and I have used it with that particular intent the last few days, but it's even more restful to remain awake and finish the whole session.

Thank you so much for offering your feedback! Yes, compared to the Prana Nidra sessions all other yoga nidra session will seem rushed in the breathing component, that is because Prana Nidra IS the breath! Everything we are doing there centers around the breath, i.e. prana! The purpose for the alternate nostril breathing component is not to complete the said number of rounds, but to drop all thoughts and focus on each and every incoming and outgoing breath. We count the breaths to help us remain totally absorbed and focused on the breath, not to complete the countdown. Yoga Nidra for Sleep is quite a bit different than normal yoga nidra sessions, actually, there will not ever be a sankalpa at the end, just like there is no actual official ending, this is because the objective (intention/sankalpa) of yoga nidra for sleep is not to complete the session with alertness, but to slip into unconsciousness and fall asleep. That being so, there is no point for a second sankalpa, and in fact it would detract from the actual shared sankalpa of the session. If I am asking people to repeat a sankalpa, that is asking them to engage in a very conscious mental act, which would pull them out of the hypnogogic trance I have been leading them into. Does that make sense? To those who are wanting to use yoga nidra for other things than sleep, I strongly urge you to use the actual yoga nidra sessions NOT for sleep, which I have published plenty of on this channel. You will certainly gain more from those sessions if your intention is to remain awake throughout. Thank you for your feedback!! Om Shanti

@@TantraForLife For sure; I was only hoping it would be a minute or two longer, not that much more. I know the goal is not a complete countdown, but I barely got down to exhale through my right nostril on count 49 before it was time to move on, so it felt like it too me a while to get the right rhythm. I was able to drop all thoughts momentarily, but then it was time to switch directives, and I panicked for a second wondering if I had microslept through a pause, haha. Yeah, I had used this one for sleep since Sunday, but the wonderful visuals would have been quite nice for a normal yoga nidra. I see the point of not having a sankalpa at the end in this case. This all came about because this morning I woke up really early. I had been stressed from the day before and listened to the full recording as I was having trouble getting sufficiently drowsy again. I didn't fall asleep this time around since I was too wired, but I did enjoy the complete session. And yes, I understand that the goal for this particular one was to lead listeners to sleep and not pull them out of the hypnagogic trance. After this video, I played the one for Anger Management and Imperturbable Inner Strength followed by Bindu Visarga. Before work, I put on the Retrain Your Brain To Quickly Release Nervous Tension recording. I do regularly take full advantage of your yoga nidra sessions that are not meant for sleep. :)

@@stefanocampagna3473 Thats awesome! I personally really enjoy the breathing component, perhaps I will do a whole session soon just for yogic breathing. One of the most common complaints I get in the sleep videos is that people feel startled when my voice comes in after a long break. That's sorta the reason I can't let the breathing component go for as long as we would both like in the sleep meditations. To be honest, the sleep meditations are very limiting, not really the original purpose for yoga, and not really my personal favorite meditations to produce, however, this is seva. There are so many people who benefit from these sleep videos (58% of my viewers), that I have continued to promise producing them into the future. The feedback from the sleep videos is really brutal, not yours, i'm speaking about in general. But I understand, people are suffering from insomnia and sleeping disorders and not as patient as most, they have given me a lot of feedback for how they want, and don't want their sleep sessions to go. Unfortunately I have to make these sleep nidras sort of their own animal, if you will, not traditional yoga nidra at all really (i admit). BUT! The mandate for the modern era of yoga is to apply the techniques for health on all levels of the human. So to meet that end, these meditations have been produced. Thanks again for your feedback, I value it greatly, and it is good to know there are others that are enjoying the breath component as much as I am, as well. There will definitely be much more of that, and then just a little more just for you! Shanti

Haha what a pleasant surprise; a few weeks ago I was thinking of asking you to make a sleep yoga nidra with focus on the chakra's, but for some reason dropped the thought. And yesterday I discovered you made this recording! :) Thanks a lot, I really enjoyed it; this is not simply a yoga nidra like the ones (hundreds) I listened before. This is pure art! I look forward to your next ones, and I'm grateful that you're sharing so much video's lately! :)

How is this one compared with the cosmic recharge one in terms of effects?
@LAKSHMIANGELES
@LAKSHMIANGELES 4 года назад
THIS ONE BALANCES YOUR CHAKRAS... THEREFORE HAS A MORE HEALING EFFECT FOR THE BODY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE THEIR CHAKRAS OUT OF BALANCE, WHICH IS MOST OF US.😉 I SUGGEST ALTERNATING THEM, WHICH IS WHAT I DO, AND C WHAT WORKS BEST. AND REMEMBER THAT OUR BODIES GET USED TO 1 THING AND EVENTUALLY IT DOESN'T DO MUCH. SO IT'S GOOD TO VARY. HAPPY DREAMS✌💜🌺

HARI OM... ON THE CONTRARY. WHEN IT'S FAST LIKE MOST DO, IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO FOCUS & UNDERSTAND THE WORDS, PLUS IT'S STRESSFUL. WE LIVE IN A SUPER FAST AND STRESSFUL WORLD WHICH MAKES US ALL PHYSICALLY & MENTALLY DISTURBED. I URGE YOU TO LEARN TO B SLOW AND MEDITATIVE... THE WORLD NEEDS THAT. PEACE & LOVE✌💜🌺

@@LAKSHMIANGELESI'm somewhere in between. I'm no good at understanding fast voices, but when there are such long pauses in the middle of sentences, I find it very hard to follow. (also I think your caps lock is left on!)
