45 Minute Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation to Support Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/CFS
Relax back into this yoga nidra practice specifically designed to support those with chronic fatigue syndrome or CFS. Yoga nidra is a guided meditative practice that utilizes systematic relaxation techniques to bring you into the deepest light altered states of consciousness and brainwave states that occur during biological sleep, only with a sense of wakeful awareness still present. In these deep brainwave states the body relaxes and the parasympathetic division of the nervous system, rest and digest, is activated. Here, the body undergoes deep regenerative rest and healing. Studies have shown that the deep rest that comes in the state of yoga nidra can allow the body to heal itself faster. The practice of yoga nidra also allows the practitioner to release tension from the body by bringing mindful awareness throughout the body to instill a deep sense of inner calm and relaxation. Yoga nidra is also supportive in relieving some of the underlying symptoms of stress and chronic fatigue, exhaustion or burnout.
In this practice, explore sensing opposite sensations in the body to discover a deep sense of balance and inner calm. Emerge feeling rested, grounded, at ease, and with a deep sense of relief throughout all of the layers of the Self.

I love your Yoga Nidras and was thrilled when I saw one on Chronic Fatigue this morning as I am having a particularly bad day. Sadly, I cannot cope with the tinkling bells at all and had to stop listening. I know it’s a big ask Kristyn, but I wonder whether you would consider doing another with no background music? Thank you for all you give, I listen to you daily. Yoga Nidra is so helpful for CFS/M.E. Namaste 🙏

I am returning to this recording again due to the fatigue and exhaustion I have been experiencing for the last week. I expected myself to fall into deep sleep in the practice but to my surprise I didn’t, somehow I got pulled back every time I drifted away and was left with a tiny bit of awareness, even though it was just really really tiny. I noticed that my energetic body feels a lot lighter and smoother after the practice and that the heaviness which has been weighing me down is now lifted. Thank you so much for all of your recordings, they are such wonderful and precious assets that one can have. Namaste, Angela. 🙏🏻☺️

Thank you so much, Kristyn. I was so excited that you’d created this. The opposites you asked us to explore were perfect for me i my recovery from CFS and chronic pain/muscle tension. Thank you, I particularly appreciated the longer length resting period, wind chimes, after the meditation had finished. It's much better than the loud ads cutting into the practice and spoiling it.

Thank you SO much, dear Kristyn, for this (and all your) amazing calming and deep going yoga Nidra session 🙏🏻 I am mother of a 2 year old toddler, lawyer and bellydance teacher from Germany and suffering of chronic fatigue for 3 years, and the last months it has become much worse so that I cannot currently work and neither give dance lessons, which makes me really sad. I have the big believe that I will heal (although it will take time), and your videos help me so so much in this time of having to lie down a lot and being so weak. You really make me calm and optimistic, and I feel the healing inside after your sessions 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💕

I am learning through all your YN guidance and of Ally, Tina and being in the YNTT how little I truly know of my body and how hard it is to truiy rest in it. I never learnt it before and I feel I am learning it like a newborn through you nurturing guidance. Thank you 🙏🏽 looking forward to continue this journey and learn and feel and experience even deeper this vessel I live in. A vessel that is so tired and exhausted but I see a glimpse of energy through your YN experiences.

I really liked this yoga nidra too Kristyn. But I also struggle with the tinkling bells. ... Had recent relapse of chronic fatigue symptoms after overdoing things. Yoga Nidra is one of salvations, so Namaste . Love the sound of the ocean in the background... Leigh from New Zealand

I absolutely love your yoga nidra practices! Did find you while I was still pregnant. It helped me so much to rest and restore. Hello, dear Kristyn. I practice Yoga Nidra almost 6 months now ass addition to my normal silent still zen type meditations. I started with guidances, then with just myself. I found this practice as very good. Then after some time I found your guided Nidra pratices. They come to me directly in time I was ready and open for more. What do you do is great, lovely and very powerfull. Thank you from Poland.

Another fantastic and healing meditation. Thanks Kristyn, as always! Love that you let the music play on a little bit at the end. I noticed that I mostly felt both fatigue and energetic as mental states: happy, smiling and clear versus depressed, foggy, down. It just shows again how important the mental and emotional aspect is in healing from CFS.

Hi Daniel, thank you so much for being here and for your inquiry. Yes there are specialized yoga nidra practices that remove the integration phase at the end and all the practitioner to simple drift off into deep sleep for the rest of the night. I love your yoga Nidras too, but also would love it if you could do ones without any background music or sounds. I find it much more restful just to hear your voice. Perhaps it’s possible to have 2 versions of each one, one with and one without additional sounds.
