YOGG BOX IS BACK!? No Minion Mage! Good Elementals?? | Whizbang Review #16 

Something I noticed with all the Elementals they just showed us is that every single one has a high value battlecry that doesn't rely on the minion's stats, meaning they all are really good to split with Mes'Adune, the legendary elemental mage got for Showdown in the Badlands.

I wonder how the Galactic Projection Orb decides on the order to cast spells in. Is that also random, or does it cast them in ascending order of cost? I would guess it's random, but it could be pretty cool to be able to know the order your spells will cast in, so that you could guarantee the AoE board clear comes before the Pyroblast. Otherwise you could get some annoying situations where your huge single target damage spell casts first but hits the opponent's 1/1 and then your AoE casts after that.

If you manage to discover a copy of the Projection Orb does the second one cast itself endlessly?

What happens if you have multiple projections? Is not hard to duplicate spells in mage. Perhaps projections can cast twice if that's your only 10 mama spell

These elementals are quite nice for Mes'adune since they are Battlecries without stats that matter.

The fact that the legendary spell can recast the prize for the quest is pretty fun to me, gotta try it in wild

Wait a second.. if you somehow manage to generate another orb spell and it's the only 10 mana cost card you have played.. won't it recast itself untill the end of time?

Projection Orb, use spells of 1-4, 6-10 cost to complete quest, and build a board, Use Quest. Use Orb on extra turn to go wide on the extra turn, and provide an extra extra turn. Go for game.

Can galactic projection orb cast itself into infinite if it's the only 10 cost I play and then cast a copy of it?

What's going to be scary is copying the galactic projection spell in hand and playing 2 of them to loop infinitely

Would be fun to duplicate Galactic through various means so that it casts itself at 10 mana XD Or does it not play itself to avoid the loop of casting itself indefinitely?

Maybe a dumb question, but are there checks in place to stop Galactic Projection Orb from casting itself? Like how Shudderwock didn't trigger itself

What is the theme here supposed to be? All the other classes have had cards themed areound a certain type of toys, but this is just all over the place. Projection Box and Hidden Objects are tchotchkes. Manufacturing Error and Spot the Difference are puzzles. Frost Lich Cross-Stich is a needlework card and belongs in Death Knight (while it does make sense as a cross-over card, t really doesn't add anything to the theme of Mage). The minons are just all over the place.

I feel like it's a single really fun card, couple cards that have some power in very limiting confines, and a complete lack of real Identity for mage. It's a smattering of packages or commit to no minion mage at a weaker strength than the old spell hunter would be today.

Frost Lich Cross-Stitch is a nice callback to my beloved Frost Lich Jaina, but - just like DK Jaina - isn't worth it in this day and age :( Could use a buff...and I mean both of them!

Ok Simple question what will hapen if you cast "galactic orb" spell twice (if you for example discower second one) and it will be your only 10mana spell. Will it go infinite??

Just wondering if you have 2 Galactic projection orbs, and not cast any other 10 cost spells, does the 2nd Orb cause an infinite recursion? Surely they tested this.

So theoreticly if u have only cast the galactic orb spell as 10 cost and cast another arent u in a loop

Playing the legendary spell 2 times with no other 10 mana spells should loop, right?

Well projection orb saying random is confusing, it could just say "recast a spell of each cost you've cast this game" and it would be understood

Didn't quite understand something, does it play Random spells with the costs you've played, or, within your cards played, it plays one random card for each cost?

Hidden Objects is a remarkably awful card.

legendary being not random spells makes it a dead card for me. The Yogg spell becomes worse for me with the no minion efffect because i want it to be more random.

am i cazy or does this look like the most generic expansion ever?!
