My hubby and I are In the area for the week, arrived on Sat.. Today we took 40 and headed to Maggie Valley.. turned in Cherokee and saw the Elk... The trees were AMAZING in that area! ... At Newfound Gap they were already lots gone from the trees... Have a safe trip home ya three...

Your right about being tight I stayed below the pool it was very tight getting my 33 foot 5th wheel in and legs were all the way extended

Mike and Karen, I’m presently in GA. with my 98 year old Momma living w me. I’m retired but unable to make my next move. Would love to end up in the Mountains one day, either Western NC or NE TN. My current idea of what I would be looking for : surrounded by nearby mountains (not a far off gaze) and a cozy downtown to grab coffee/breakfast and later a diner for some comfort food. You two have been in soooo many of the towns. Would you be willing to think for a moment and offer your Top 3 Mountain Towns fitting my description? (I sense it would be a tad overwhelming contacting/coordinating a realtor who would be willing to spend that kind of time w me narrowing choices !). Thank You ! Your story is wonderful … meeting and committing when young and STAYING committed!
