YONAKA Exhaust Install on Acura Integra (Before & After)

I have had a Yonaka exhaust on my 97 Integra for a few years now and have had no problem getting the car to pass CA emissions.

Very good video review 10/10, because he does a before and after comparison which is significant in product reviews.

I’ve had three Yonaka cat-backs on my Integra GSR. I love the sound and look of them. HOWEVER, the reason I have had three of the exact same exhausts is because they are junk!! They sound great at first, but after you put thousands of miles on them they all develop an extremely annoying rattle in the muffler. The packing in the muffler is very cheap and disintegrates/comes out with time and use. So if you barely drive your Integra, sure it may be fine for a little bit… but if you daily drive your car with an Yonaka exhaust, be prepared for a loud annoying rattle! You start to hear it at around 1800-3000 RPM. So after buying THREE Yonaka exhausts, I’m done, only HKS or Apexi from here on out…

I had this on my CG accord. I recommend this exhaust for everyone its just loud enough and if you wanna run headers its not obnoxious

If you want it a bit louder, I’d recommend what I had on mine, yonaka catback but with magnaflow high flow cat, ebay headers, and no flex pipe, loved the sound it wasn’t too obnoxious or raspy like a straight pipe but it also wasn’t too quiet. I could be quiet when I needed too but loud if I wanted.

Sick video I’ve been wanting to switch out my type r 1.75inch for something bigger will definitely have to get one of these sounds super clean like the type r muffler but louder and deeper 🤙🏼

I have the same Yonaka exhaust on my 94 GSR. When I bought it Yonaka told me the exhaust was 4 inches too short go fit the 2 door GSR. I bought it anyway and had the shop fabricate a 4 inch extension between the cat and resonator. That was a big mistake. The exhaust drones most of the time. I am looking to replace it with something closer to stock.

Did your pipe bolt on to the cat with no fitting issues? Was your pipe a. 2.5? Reason I ask is because o thought the cat was a 2.25. Just wondering???
