He stays "friendly" but cuts them off at any chance. He makes it seem like he is interested but doesn´t give the guest opportunities to make any points and ends everything abruptly. No matter how much he aligns with the progressive agenda inside he has a total cave mentality. Also he treats women completely different compared to males which fits the narrative. @Amarant Coral He basicly tries to be THE King/Alpha Dog amongst the "progressive" males. Keeping everyone down who doesn´t make his cut and constantly signaling how modern and advanced he is. At the same time he wants to be appealing as the ultimate mens man that hunts for food and trains till his meat head turns cherry red. His "role" seems pretty important to him because more than once he didn´t stay consistant on things depending on who he is talking to or about at the moment. Also he lets people strip with their most private stories and almost never shares something where he seems vulnerable. That way he stays in control. I enjoyed a lot of his content because of his interesting guests. The more this side of him becomes apperent to me though the less I can enjoy the format.

Yoshi Obayashi is not true Japanese. He's Zainichi nth generation Korean. Sounds like his father might be Japanese but you'll note by his own admissions that all the fucked up shit is done by the Korean side of his family.
