1. You’re on point; I don’t coil super tight to the root. And yeah, sometimes the roots can puff up a bit. I’ve found that a good edge control or light gel can keep those roots in check.

lol it doesn’t matter how old a post is, I’m here to help if I can. The first few times you’ll need a hand held mirror. Cheap ones you can get at a dollar store. Then with practice it’ll be “touch and feel” you’ll get familiar with working around your own head without a mirror. Practice makes perfect 👍🏽
