How do you know what laser to use for what material? I just got an LP4 and have never had a laser engraver before. I have no clue what each laser does and when to use it for what material. Do you have any good resources of where I can learn this?

Ciao Daniele bel video e bella l'idea di guardare i dettagli con microscopio elettronico e sembra davvero molto preciso, tu che sicuramente l'hai provato bene è effettivamente preciso come si vede? Sul taglio senza aiuto dell'ar come se la cava soprattutto su legno,in fine una curiosità cosa significa quando hai inciso la piastrina 4K ? Ha la risoluzione pari al 4 k o cosa? Grazie per le risposte e complimenti ancora per il video il mi piace non può mancare ciao Massimo C.

Grazie massimo. Ti rispondo subito: Si, è veramente preciso e ho utilizzato il microscopio proprio per mostrare come realmente incide. La risoluzione 4K non è altro che una densità di punti che formano il disegno. A 4K fai incisioni molto piccole, per esempio su anelli ecc. Hai presente nei classici incisori laser l' intervallo di linea? Più sarà basso il valore e minore sarà lo spazio dell' incisione tra una linea e l' altra. La risoluzione 4K forma la figura con molti piu punti ma che userai solo su incisione di piccole dimensioni. Considera che nel legno è poco rilevante e ti allunga drasticamente i tempi di lavoro. Per il taglio, non potrai fare grandi cose perchè il laser stesso non lavora in modo perpendicolare e i tagli estreni saranno angolati. Però potrai tagliare fino a 5 mm delle piccole targhette, ma non c'è un kit air assist perché la potenza è minima.

Please, test transparent acrylic and transparent polycarbonate cut. I have a sculpfun s9, but dont cut those materials, and dont engrave in aluminium, copper, galvanized steel, and transparent surfaces.

I also have problems with some materials like copper. I am disappointed to be honest. I couldn't cut 15 mm plywood with one pass. Even not with two passes. Also wood got burnt. It takes far too long to cut without burning the wood actually. I don't know whether I am expecting too much but with this high price it should do better.

@@wenigerisstmehr126 15mm is too much for those machines. Maybe for your case, a CNC milling machine is better. Sculpfun Just cut 3mm plywood in one pass. Most diode lasers can do this. Fiber lasers is better to engrave some materials.

@@zunigatactical I also have 4 mm pine plywood and for cutting one earring not that big it would need 1 hour with several passes. We bought this machine for commercial use and are really disappointed...

@@wenigerisstmehr126 what software you use for your machine? I still use lightburn in my sculpfun. My settings for 1pass cut: 100mms@90% Power. Do you use air Assist? Check The lens, if not dirty. Fumes make dirt on lens, make difficult way to pass the light for them.

Si, dal momento che ha una risoluzione impressionante. Il problema è che non ha sufficiente forza per tagliare il rame ma con la tecnica del fotoresit, si possono fare circuiti stampati.

@@DanieleTartaglia 🤣 in teoria si dovrebbero risparmiare i primi passaggi di incisione ,se ho capito bene ,visto che lo puo fare direttamente il laser. e poi procedere normalmente . va bo era solo un modo per avere un ulteriore ed alternativo utilizzo .oltre a tutto quello che fa .tutto qua ..se dovrei acquistarla solo per fare circuiti stampati , sarebbe come comprare un cannone per eliminare le zanzare , grazie in ogni caso

Купила я себе такой лазер. Был очень сильно разочарован. Это очень, очень, очень медленный лазер. Если вы хотите сделать что-то в большом количестве. Вы просто устанете ждать, по металлу он очень слабый и так же медленный. Гравировка 15 на 15 см на деревево у вас займёт 30 минут. Вы не смотрите на видео, они там его ускоряют эти блогеры, чтобы продать вам эту бесполезную вещь. Это очень дорогая игрушка.
