I loved this episode so much!! Was so nice to hear Indigenous folx talk about international solidarity and the connections between struggle without having to worry about how their words sound to colonizer ears (seriously I feel like there is so few spaces where we can joke around). Sounded surprisingly joyful and hopeful! Tremendously enjoyed the laughter shared and discussion and was laughing along with yall. And super informative! This one is going to be a multiple repeat episode for me :)

As a 67 year old white person born and raised in the US, I have been on a quest for truth, having early on realized that things are not at all what they seem here. Interestingly, it is my profound affinity for the Oppressed People of Palestine that led to my finding the Red Nation space here, and this discussion put me in mind of something the late Great Russell Means said, which was to the effect of, regardless of race or ethnicity, "we are ALL on the reservation now". That resonated with me so much, because I have been more and more seeing through the propaganda and abject government corruption how the entire populace of this country, and indeed, most of the world is being colonized by dark, unseen political/financial forces that hid nothing in their genocide of indigenous people or abuse of black and brown people, but are now moving to enslave, and indeed, eliminate ALL of us using the same blueprint. Ironically, the salvation of human kind may well lie in the joining of an emerging enlightened homogeneous populace of all races and ethnicities sharing a common goal - SURVIVAL - based on the lessons learned in indigenous oppression and struggle. There is so much we can do togetherto combat ignorance and tyrrany ❤❤❤❤

Hello to Friends of The Red Nation, I agree with J. Sakai in him correctly saying that race is an identifyer of class in the United States. Such is the case simply because the U.S. is a European settler colonialist imperialist nation. The internally colonized peoples in the world are the exclusive phenomena of European settler colonialism in all of the European settler colonialist national formations in the world in which the U.S. is the leading such formation. In relation to those formations, the contradiction between the colonizers and the colonized is a class contradiction which obviously exists through race and thereby race is an identifyer of class in all of the European settler colonialist national formations. That is not to say that class difference does not exist among the European settler colonialists and among the internally colonized. Class difference exists within those two groups. However, in relation to the European settler colonialists, despite the class difference that exists among them, nonetheless they have the SAME CLASS INTEREST AS COLONIZERS. Now in relation to the internally colonized, all of them cannot have the same class interest as the colonized if the neocolonialist stage of the imperial capitalist system of the white nations (which include all of the European settler colonialist national formations) has taken hold of the internally colonized. Neocolonialism is the last stage of that imperial capitalist system in which that system continues to rip off and ravage The Wretched Of The Earth but through the outlandish notion that that system granted national independence and sovereignty to all peoples colonized by that system. What actually occurred was that that imperial capitalist system allowed the national bourgeoisies of all colonized peoples to set about political systems that were to be reflective of the interests of the imperialist nations. Such is what neocolonization of The Wretched Of The Earth entailed. The national bourgeoisies of all colonized peoples have always lacked capital and in neocolonialism those national bourgeoisies continue and sustain their class existence by being neocolonized puppet sellouts to and for the imperialist nations. Hence the internally colonized in their entirety cannot have the same class interest as the colonized if neocolonialism has its hold on them. Lucky to live in a country that has made some reparations. so we don't individually have to leave. Still as I look at the changers from capitalism to technocracy and the wealth becoming the security of the 1%, everyone is becoming dispossessed. My heart and thoughts are with the people of Palestine as what is happening there is beyond belief

WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED ( INDIGENOUS)! Indigenous communities is not united between Mexican indigenous, red skinned indigenous , black skinned indigenous. Palestinian should be looking at indigenous in the USA and saying what is your problem . You're depened on white colonizers money . These white colonizers tell you who is indigenous and who is not. Indigenous. You let white people fake being indigenous . You don't claim your BlACK indigenous cousin. I wonder how many Palestinian know the history of blsck skinned indigenous people in USA. I hear EXCLUSION. Some of those black people being killed by police come from indigenous ancestry. This is sad.

I am not Palestinians or native. I have been long observer of the Palestinian movement. I think Mohammad is being a bit too pessimistic. Palestinians have A LOT of orgs, political, cultural and historical that are talking about Palestine all the time, not saying there isn’t a huge Zionist movement to counter their stories. I am part of a persecuted group who literally have none of what Palestine has. So it makes me sad thinking how far we have to go for our own liberation. 😢
