2021, I saw him last 2019 at sumner fest Milwaukee, and I still love all his songs, he is so talented yet such under appreciated. The whole world should hear his message, and there would be world peace.

For me This song told the story of my first love. Fell for her when I was a kid, we went out in High School and this was the song I would listen to to help me find an answer for her presence in my life. It shows me now that this is the lesson of first love we all hopefully share, it is a song and sunshine in our past, and how lucky I was to be able to remember that, and fondly talk about it. To be lucky (and I love the added part jason put in this version) that we remember and cherish it and talk about it so much so far that we won't have to have words to describe it or recall it for ourselves; it will, and is for me, forever imprinted in our hearts. Love you Jason forever you are my idol and inspiration to pursue the joy and magic of music.

this version hits different when u lost someone unlike the original version can make jolly and witty but this one's crawling inside of you till you burst out with tears.
I think both versions are about losing someone, but the original has a much more optimistic tone. The original seems like it's saying that we may have lost our love, but we are still close. This one makes you feel like you lost your love and that experience aged you, saying that you were still lucky to have it, but you are better off without it.
this version and that one in korean tv are my fave versions of this song. the last few seconds of the song just lifts me up, makes me cry and all those emotions that encapsulates "being alive".
