Thank you. !!!!!! One thing i would say I realized in university is that most people are there just because they were told to finish high school and go to varsity and study. They go there just for the sake of getting a qualification. Even during application seasons, they ask other people to apply for them and say, "apply for anything, mangifundile nje." And they complain bathi they are sitting at home jobless with a degree but they don't wanna face the fact that you can't just study anything for the sake of ukujabulisa abazali, even worse not knowing what you want to do with that qualification. I think the main cause of this is the lack of proper career guidance.
There is no Career guidance at high schools...Some high school teachers don't even know these things...Its really sad how our high school education systems has done to us...People go to university not knowing the difference between the two (professional and academic degree).
Also...that Bsc route to Medicine is really difficult...I would advice someone who was not admitted to medicine from high school to upgrade your matric results rather than taking the Bsc Route to medicine which has a less than 10% acceptance rate...Just upgrade your results from high school and reapply...
I don't think that's fair, if you didn't get accepted, you should move on, cause now you have an advantage to the current matrics. I believe you should only upgrade results if you failed. Leave Medicine to the top learners, I wouldn't trust a surgeon who had to upgrade their matric results. If you didn't do very well in matric, and want to take the Bsc route, that's still a bad decision, if they can't handle matric, how will they be able to handle studying the MBCHB, people need to understand they were rejected for a reason, we can't all be Doctors, there are other amazing professions and jobs as well.
@@anelemazibuko523 Exactly...thank you for that response...people need to accept their realities...I know a lot of students who upgraded then went to university to do medicine and they are doing just fine as doctors...lol...I think upgrading is a good thing
@@sthembonambi that is not true...lol...I know a guy who didnt do well in matric 2017 then went for upgrading in 2018...next year his gonna be doing his final year medicine at UKZN...please advice people to upgrade and leave these Bsc difficult route...

What is a so-called 'top learner' had some traumatic Ish happen to them right before finals? And they had to write with these issues hampering their performance? If those 'top learners' you're talking about are so superior, let them PROVE IT then!
I have a firm offer for BSc in Electrical n information engineering degree at Wits And also waiting for an acceptance for Beng Electrical n electronic engineering from UJ So I'm scared of being unemployed after completing one of the two I'm I going the right direction or should I just opt for like teaching n pharmacy NEED HELP URGENTLY PLEASE HELP especially with an emphasis on the BSc in Electrical engineering from Wits
If UJ accept you... please take the offer...you might end up finishing Bsc Eng electrical in 7 years at wits...at UJ you will finish in 4 years...please don't choose wits...choose UJ..

@@user-io4wr2nj5b They are both NQF level 8...meaning they are both honors degrees...but majority of students who did engineering at wits tend to do it in 6 to 7 years...wits its unnecessary abusive compared to UJ...im not saying its easier at UJ...But what im saying is that the pass-rate is higher for engineers at UJ compared to abusive wits...if you want to finish on record time (meaning 4 years)...please choose UJ...at wits the pass-rate is lower...meaning you might finish your degree in 6 to 7 years...im talking from experience because I know a lot of engineering students who come from wits to UJ, they tell of trauma stories they experienced there at wits...please choose the B.Eng Electrical and electronic from wits and leaver abusive wits alone...I beg you..please...
