►About the Game -
In the third episode of Fears to Fathom you play as Noah Baker, an 18 year old who got a small job offer to house-sit for the COO of a local media company for the weekend, he takes the offer as he had nothing interesting going on for that weekend. It wasn't long before he began experiencing something very unsettling about the place. Little did he know what was about to come. He survived as he made the right choices.
This game is primarily a first-person narrative walking simulator with exploration, driving, and conversation mechanics.

Omg. That's crazy. Glad these folks survived to tell the tale. I'm sure is real stories. Many evil errie things go on unbeknownst to reg people in city or not even not in a city. 😂 lol how you not supposed to go to the bathroom ?! Better then outside silly. Not that hard to wipe. Look for cleaning products or wipes.

Man, I used to watch houses for people when I was younger. This game captured the perfect essence of how anxiety inducing it sometimes felt while still giving you th sense of "I'm being ridiculous!" Halfway through now and it's really got the perfect feeling.

Same. The worst was probably the time I had the flu whilst house/dog-sitting. Nothing felt right because my senses were muddled, I was extra vulnerable, and then to be in a strange house, in a strange neighborhood... Well, the dog was good, and the homeowners were nice, but I was glad when the job was done. (And yes, I made sure to disinfect EVERYTHING before I left, to avoid passing on my illness.)

I love the realism of the situation this time. No ghosts or weirdly over powered serial killer, just a kid facing a crazy person with a knife. There's something even more frightening when the threat is that grounded.

When I first saw the dog, I immediately got mad because I thought he was gonna die. I sat in sadness waiting for it. SO HAPPY Zeke made it!!!! I can't remember the last time I was this happy 😂

Really fun and anxiety causing. This is my favorite of the FTF games so far. One of my favorite things about CJU is that he plays games as though they're actually happening to his character. Because he wants to keep his character alive, he plays like the smart guy he is and thinks before he acts. This really ramps up immersion for me. I started this game giggling at CJU's exasperation about Noah peeing on the rug, and his sudden craving for the "aesthetically pleasing pizza" 😂, but I ended it appropriately anxious because of CJU's gameplay and commentary. Good job, you! And good job Rayll for creating a game with which we can all have some fun. 👍

That was a good one! I like how the devs played with your mind a bit regarding the pizza (I don’t know if I would have eaten it before hearing from the owner of the house either, not after the drugged espresso from episode 2), and the cameras were a very nice touch. I also liked how you had to work to get the cameras working in the first place. I wonder if there’s another way to fix the computer because like Chris, I assumed the “antivirus” software was actually a virus! The night vision needing to be turned back on every 5 seconds or so was brilliant.

@@Laura_5757 I agree with all you wrote, Laura. I always like when a game allows for alternate scenarios. I wonder, for instance, how things would have played out if Noah had let the pizza guy in. Although there wasn't much innate need for action in this game, it let the gamer determine how much or how little they would do. Also, I LOVED that Rayll didn't kill off Zeke!! 😊

I don't know if anyone else pointed this out already but at around 41:30 if you pause and look at the dining room window in the direction Chris is facing, you can see the person outside the window through the blinds as they sneak around the side of the house. 😬😳

At one point towards the end of the game, I noticed the three kitchen knives had been reduced to two... hellooooo, anxiety! This game is why I don't house sit for anyone... which is funny because my older brother just asked if I could house sit for him for 4 weeks. That's a NO from me! I actually have legit reasons why I can't, thankfully. 😂🤣

@@kieranhair37 If you actually read my full comment, I stated I had actual reasons why I couldn't house sit. Reasons: I am a single mother and a small business owner. I can't actually take all of my equipment to his house to work. His place is over an hour away and he has friends who are much closer who he can ask to stay over, as he has done before I moved to the same state. My daughter has functions/events she can't miss and she can't drive. I have indoor cats. So I'm in service to my child who needs me, my cats who need me, and my business that brings us an income. Yes, I have anxiety but my comment was mostly a joke. Nice of you to assume so much without knowing anything and also not getting the joke. And weirdly, you pick my comment as if others have not said similar things about having the same fears. Have a great day!

As someone with my own mental health deal, it annoys me sometimes. I wasn't going to respond to every single one, but it seems you were not doing that so I chose poorly. Apologies where I was wrong.

It's very annoying, I wish I didn't have anxiety so I could maybe enjoy things a lot more - less panic, less overthinking, less over planning, and less stress. I didn't mean to get defensive and accept your apology, please accept mine. I get tired of trying to explain to some people what I'm going through as I'm told to "just get over it", especially some family members who don't experience what I do. I wish I could, I REALLY do! @@RedRosesDead07 You're fine. I get sometimes too annoyed because I'm used to people who really do make "look at me" comments for easy likes. Sounds like you legit were not one of them and I shouldn't have been so quick to assume you were. It's kind of like celiac disease. A lot of people who actually have it have been given food with gluten because the fad dieters made their waiters think it was all BS. The same thing is happening with mental health. I like to act smarter than other people, but the truth is I have no idea what the solution is.

Man, the killing scene really got me - even on the face replay in the end. Whole immersion and anxiety felt very real - cause the situation was very real. And that is what these series does best! And that was the best part in my opinion. And I laughed so hard when you've said -You can actaully control it! - when you pissed second time....

This is SO good. Perfectly set up Creepy as hell but also hilarious (the shopping trip and a peeing minigame). This took it's time to build the tension and earn the pay offs. Just little things like the dog barking at something outside and off camera is so effective. This is the way you pace a horror game. 8/10. The only drawback is that there's no supernatural element, that would have even added more.

Man, the watching tv and pizza part triggered my misophonia so bad I clawed off my headphones. This was a *great* game, tho; had me on edge, because I've done house sitting before and it can be... freakin' scary as hell, when it's a place you're not used to being in - especially for an extended period of time. These games are fantastic and does the build up so well.

This was a FANTASTIC game. The others were good too, but this was easily the best in premise, execution, and atmosphere. Pissing on the rug Big Lebowski style made me crack up too.

👏👏👏 All I can say is, you are SO brave. I had my eyes covered multiple times throughout this game - genuinely, scariest game I've seen you play in a while, and that is saying a lot! The ending was a bit underwhelming, but the whole game and gameplay was just perfect for a horror game. Man, I'm going to have nightmares tonight! Still shivering!

Considering there were no monsters or supernatural elements involved, it was indeed pretty scary. Plus, I'm a sucker for good graphics. The character modeling was a bit janky, but the house itself was kinda the star. Good game, Chris: Thanks!

It completely caught me off guard that the game notices you peeing on the bathroom rug. I thought it was just "oh, you clicked the toilet too early, but you're still peeing into it"-thing, but the reaction + game acknowledging the premature expulsion of fluids was great.
