If you’ve ever been asked to help or give advice to people who’ve not quite learned the concept of listening, you’ll understand why it’s so hard to keep assisting. At some point, we realize that many people don’t want to be helped, don’t know how to move through the help, or how to change their situations on their own. Codependency will become the narrative and your energy will be depleted.
Make sure you listen closely about what to do and how to navigate with them.
