A short educational Comedic film and yeah I really like the background! A colour background would also be cool, I know Potato Jet has some cool backgrounds
This is a backdrop I purchase from sunstudios here in Melbourne and two stands I purchased from amazon! Maybe I’ll make a whole video on how I make my videos!
Great vid mate, I'm playing around with 3d modeling, it seems like a rabbit hole, but a pretty sweet one. Also, BG is nice, you should get your wolf logo painted/printed on it in a matte charcoal or black, would be lit AF.
Man that one tip is game changing! Even just for confidence in your own ability and style, pretty hard to stick to your own idea when you're consuming the ideas of hundreds of other people every day
Interesting video!👌 Focus is very important. I just uploaded a video about my thoughts on "the Marshmallow test" that was conducted by a Stanford psychology professor. Not sure if you're familiar with it, but the study claims that kids who can delay gratification are destined for success and kids who don't have that discipline will most likely struggle. Pretty interesting.
This was a great vid Tom, fully agree with Create > Consume, gonna try to follow this more 👌🏻 Yeah I really like the background, nice and clean with no distractions!
4:38 - Do you have someone else in your room or did you look to the left out of awkwardness? I find I do that sometimes haha I am in 100% agreement with this video, when I first started I thought that it was purely because I wasn't getting exposure and I remember getting a little annoyed that feature pages weren't noticing me...then as I started to learn more, I realised my edits weren't actually that great and I needed to practise and learn more (AND STILL VERY MUCH DO) Love the new backdrop, super professional, is it just regular seemless paper? I unfortunately am working overtime this Saturday as I have to oversee a project I have been working on BUT once that is done, I plan on making a video for the RU-vid channel, thinking of recreating that watch commercial you did a month or so ago, challenging myself to see if I can make something like that with zero film making experience!
Hahahah nah I think I was looking up at the monitor😂 but it does look like that Everyone’s like that in the beginning man! We all have that feeling of confusion, wondering why we haven’t blown up yet!
And thanks man, it’s a real seamless backdrop I purchased from a photo studio near my house, but I got the stands cheap on amazing (paper was actually more expensive than the stands lol) figured that I might as well spend my money on paper that will last!
Subbed on the basis of this vid Tom. ☝️ For the record I started watching 9ish this morning as a result of RU-vid logarithm recommendation and just finished then 4.30ish. Didn’t create in between but was productive all the same😉 Back drop worth the investment for sure btw. Looking forward to catching more of your playlists as time allows and watching your channel grow. Thx again 🇦🇺
Brilliant video yet again Tom! You're wildly underrated and under-subscribed to, but your content is consistently of high quality and very informative!
Tom Noske I’m a creator myself. Filming and Editing for a Fishing RU-vidr by the name of Jon B. I’m consistently asked questions in regards to camera gear, production hacks, color grading, story telling. I can honestly say what you’ve accomplished over the last year and a half with this page has been nothing short of brilliance. I’m one of those guys who feels my input on those questions are better left in the hands of Creators like yourself. So, with that said. I’m going to throw some young creators your way through my Instagram Audience. Been an active follower of your IG for quite some time - and your journey into to RU-vid - this video is exactly what young creators need to hear. Keep up the phenomenal work. By the way, the new lighting you have is buttery smooth. All the best!
Hey Tom, I really liked this video and what the message is, my whole life I’ve been very different to other people, because I’m a immigrant, so my parents aren’t like all the other parents, so I didn’t do a lot of the things everyone else did, like going to restaurants partying and constantly getting new clothes, but I realised that all that stuff didn’t matter, what really mattered was my good friends, what really mattered was my passion, and what I enjoyed doing, and if I just keep that mindset, I would throw away everything that’s keeping me back and actually enjoy life,
thank you for making this video as a wake-up call. I think we all fall into the numbers storm at some point and as you said, focus more on things that don't matter. I count myself in that group since I've just created my photography account and I know for a fact that I'm using too much of my time looking at the numbers. so here goes an honest Thank you. now back to editing! haha ps: love the background and your set in general. simple with no distractions so we can focus on what matters
