You Are Your Habits. Leg Day.

I was responding to a subscriber the other day in regards to him wanting to stop smoking weed, but still not being able to. I told him something Tai Lopez said and that I have found to be true through first hand experience. When you are young it is a lot easier to change habits based on the nueral plasticity of the brain. This is just the term for explaining the brains ability to contantly adapt, change and learn, over time and repetition. Even though the brain has this ability until the day ew die it is a lot harder to make signifigant changes to your toxic habits past the age of 25. In other words, it is a lot harder to teach an old dog new tricks. But that doesn't mean it's not possible. In fact, the older we get the more likely we are to make positive changes in our lives actually comes from TRAUMATIC experiences. Like a girlfriend or boyfriend breaking up with you. A family member passing away. Being severely embarrassed in public. That's just the way it is.
And a lot of the positive changes I made in my life where due to two things:
1.Getting out of a toxic relationship with a woman.
2. Going through very emotional traumatic experiences with my mother.
The interesting thing is that the FIRE from these experiences only lasts for so long. It is up to us to implement the proper habits and imbed them into our brains in order to make them stick over decades of time. I have slipped with some of these habits, but the fire is still there in the reasoning I brought them to be in the first place.
If you are really blessed you will learn from others and impliment the necessary habits in your life from learning mainly WHAT NOT TO DO from what you see in others. If you are like the other 90% of humans past the age of 25 then you will most likely succumb to changing your ways only when a traumatic experience presents itself in your life. That's just how it is. Becasuse humans are CREATURES OF HABIT.
