Gurrrl this is the best explanation I've ever heard about setting powders and powder foundations. I'm using the ELF powder foundation currently but happy to find out that there are many more good ones available out there. Thank you for the info. ❤😘

I literally just got back from the Pharmacy/Drugstore & was so overwhelmed which one to get. I gave up, came home, put my feet up ready for a relax and look at previous MJ recommendation & look what pops up….. Our Queen never lets us down 🎉 Ok let me go watch 👀

Estee Lauder Double Wear Powder Foundation and Mac Studio Fix Powder are my favorites. I have combo skin and their shades are easy especially if you know what you are in their liquid version.

I’ve been trying so many powder foundations through out the years! You named! Clinique, Clarins, Shiseido, Estée Lauder, Origins, Dior, one of the latest Bare Minerals, It Cosmetics, Too Faced. MUF and One/Size hate them on my skin and I returned after a few days. The 2 only and my favorites are Lancôme and the Studio Fix from MAC. I started using MAC in 2002 when it came to Puerto Rico for the first time and hands down it’s my all time favorite! Recently, I’ve using it with my Makeup Revolution Glow Fix and last all day and night and the finished is absolutely beautiful. Thank’s for the video ❤it! Saludos desde 🇵🇷🫶

Girl! You are the best. I love the way you explain tge products purpose and what to expect. Could you please explain what would be the best primer to use under powder foundation. Also, I have mature skin, which of the drug store products do you recommend for my type of skin. I also have oily skin.

OMG thank you so so much!! 💕☺️😆😘primer depends on what you need, I personally love matte primer on the skin then go over with the foundation powder. since its not sticky the powder won't stick to any patches 💕☺️😆😘

Can I please request a dedicated video on how to apply powder foundation properly? I’ve tried searching online but there are no proper videos explaining this. Everyone only shows how to use these powders AFTER a liquid foundation. Can’t we use just the powder one without a liquid underneath? I’m super confused

@@jayanthir8975 I've found that using a dense brush gives me good coverage and the best application. I take the brush and pounce it on like how u use a beauty blender.

Would love if you had a rating system like x/10, or categories for why you like them, because it was hard to figure out which ones were the best as someone who hasn’t tried a bunch of different Foundation Powders. You only good stuff to say about all of them so it’s a lil tricky to figure out which one to go for.

I would use the Beauty Creations as a setting powder, not foundation. But i have a lot to cover, and you have a more even skintone, so that may be why you liked it. I found it had less coverage than the Loreal infallible. Quite translucent. My go to is the Jcat Aquasurance, wich has more coverage than the Loreal, so I can use it alone. I use the Loreal on top of spot concealing and as I said, the Jcat alone. I use Soft tan all over and light beige in the middle of the face, as a matte highlight for dimension.

I knew Bare Minerals would make the cut, lol. From what I've read/heard it's suppose to be great for those of us with more mature skin. I've been using Pur's 4-1 for yrs now. After finding a skin tint that works for me I use them together. I like that I can use both together or alone and/or use both products just on certain areas of my face. I just remember the days when all we really had to use was CoverGirl or Maybelline's pressed powders, lol. At the time it worked. At least it did for me and my sister's/friends. Being so young and not needing much in the way of coverage worked to our benefit. 😄 Great video once again. Enjoy your Sun. Wishing you a great/safe week ahead... 😉

Mac studio fix powder-its not pigmented enough to be a foundation and use to cover up. It's not going to cover spots or marks on the skin, more just like a light veil on the skin. I have acne marks and redness in my skin and this doesn't do anything for me. So I wouldn't recommend this one alone, it would need to used with a good coverage foundation underneath 😊

Aww of course china!!! You can use it many way, on top of liquid foundation, over setting power or on bare skin over primer!! then you go with setting spray! 😘☺️❤️ 😆

Laura helmet bake n brighten powder foundation is the shit. I have dry mature skin And I can wear the bake brightening & glow powder foundation with a hydrating primer and it looks amazing!

Thanks for the great review! This is before your time, but the best powder foundation (PF) I ever used was (the now out-of-business) Prescriptives Instant Face. It was lightweight, medium coverage, took ~three minutes to apply, and very natural looking. It was discontinued & they came out with Anywear powder foundation. I had a shade that was slightly too dark, but it was my go-to for years, but not as nice as Instant Face. The next-best powder I have found is the Shiseido SS Custom Finish Powder foundation. Have you tried that one? I'm sort of afraid to keep searching for new ones as I have sensitive skin and already own nine PFs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
