You asked for it and here it is. I've had several requests on RU-vid and Instagram about the kind of Bible I use. Nothing wrong with being super spiritual. It just means you trust in His word. Don't deny His meaning to you. Sometimes that's our greatest witness.

What's wrong with being super spiritual? Stop apologizing for your committed life in God! If people like they'll watch if not they'll move on! But the apologies is not attractive! Keep doing his will!

@@candikcan1720 sorry for the late response... in regards to your sounding as if you are apologizing...?.. I think people get that because of how you go on and on before you make your point.. it could be that you are nervous in front of a camera... and I get that,,, but... when you wish to talk about something.. before you do,..,, you go on and on about it before you get to your point or say what you want to say.. .. to many people it would come off OR sound as if you are stalling or embarrassed to say what you are going to say. but as I said.. it could be nerves... or it could be that you are SO excited to talk about things.. that you are are over whelming yourself.....which makes you sound as if you are being apologetic... you seem like a shy church going person to me who is really on fire for the Lord..... we have a lot of these in my church as well,,,...

I just happened to check out some other videos and found yours and could not stop watching. Your enthusiasm and caring for that person out on the other side of the video really, I hope this doesn't sound out of place, really spoke to me and you had me right off the bat. Love the way you speak and how you make sense on the way a planner should be set up for its functionality and how you can m as make it look nice and or fun as well. I like it that your system works for any type of planner. I have been checking out your past videos and they were terrific. I subscribed to your channel today and will definitely become an avid watcher. Congrats to your videos and hard tedious work. I hope you get lots my subscribers. I hope you got another Spirit FIlled LIfe Bible! the 2 you showed (still watching) are vastly different - a fundamental hardcore vs charismatic! (I don't have the MacArthur SB but some similar along with the Spirit FIlled one and the LIfe in the Spirit someone else mentioned. I like how they balance each other

I love this video! God had me start with the KJV but then he got me a NKJV Open Bible about a year after that. I got more understanding from it than the KJV back then. Now I'm able to understand the KJV but I like to switch it up daily lol. He just got me the new 3rd edition Spirit Filled Life Bible in full color and I am so happy and blessed !!! They have added more word wealth, prayers and updated content. Its in a comfort print, 10 point font and full color. Christian Book is where I ordered but Amazon has a good price too. Bible Buying Guide has a review for the hard cover version on youtube if anyone is curious. God bless you all!

I have a Spirit Filled Life bible from the 1990's when they first came out. I believe Jack Hayford is the general editor and I respect him immensely!! I also love the Fire Bible in the ESV. It's the same as the Life in the Spirit which is KJV. I have the Mc Auther as well and love it even though I don't share some of his doctrinal positions such as Calvinism, and some others, his commentary is a wealth of info. I don't mind the challenge of different insights. And you are so right. We are so blessed in our country for the wealth of access to Gods Word available to us! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the video. I enjoy seeing how people interact with their Bibles. When you were talking about getting your Bible rebound it got me thinking just how good an idea that is. There are many Bible collectors on the RU-vid and most, if not all rebind a Bible from time to time and post videos about it. Just do a RU-vid search for "Bible Rebinds" and see what pops up. Bible rebinds can be pretty expensive. But how these people can restore an old beat-up Bible to it's former glory is nothing short of amazing. Expensive, but amazing, we're talk upwards of $300 for a good leather rebind. Do your homework, save your pennies and do a video on what you decide to do. I belelieve a Bible is a Bible. Don't judge someone if they want to recover their Bible. It's not going to change them and their belief in God. God is not going to care if it's recovered but only if your still faithful and love him and his word.

I would rather see a lady's Bible be as used as yours is than pristine, because it means in your rough times you actually went for God. you may not be super spiritual, but you got a whole lot of faith. I happened on your video looking for Christian book reviews. this worked as that. I'm intrigued by the Spirit filled Bible.

I am so glad you shared! Keeping it real. Binding-- you can cover it your self with a pretty fabric. And I wanted you to know that Beth Moore uses a Key Word Study Bible ( really hard to use the notes) but what she said that made a huge light bulb moment for me was that she will use "her Bible"until it is "full" and then get a new one of the same type and "start over" that way she has the old one, but she has a blank slate for God to show her things she has not seen before with out her markings in her way sort of speak. That has been a huge game changer for me when it comes to study. I am using a David Jeremiah Study Bible right now at a whooping 3.5 pounds, and I am marking like crazy in it! I date everything I mark. With it, my goal is to eventually read the whole Bible finally and visually see what I have read. My favorite color to highlight is the Caran D'Ache Neocolor II watersoluble crayons. I take them to church with me and I can mark easily, but then I can also use a damp brush and smooth out that color.

Debbie...where do you get the crayons you recommend? I will be somewhere that MAYBE I can get them, but will only have a short window of time to run and grab some things...no shopping...ha! Can you direct me, please?

www.dickblick.com/products/caran-dache-neocolor-ii-artists-crayons/ here they are. the 10 count would be great, they will be more portable. I only have the 30 count, and they do fit in my Bible Bag. I am happy I picked up the bigger set. only other thing you need is a water brush. And watch videos of Bible journaling with them. I hope you find a local store! (look for a "real" art supply)

just one question....on a bible which you use a lot... wouldn't it be more convenient to mark pages with colored paperclips... rather than use those bulky heavier clamps?..

Don’t recover it. Get a new one & transfer important notes. Your NKJV should be passed on to a dear family or friend. They’ll cherish every little mark you made in it. I acquired my Grandady’s Bible after he went to be with Jesus. It is so precious to my heart. I enjoy seeing all the little notes or marks he made in it. Meanwhile, her a cookbook type of stand and display it in your favorite reading room so you can enjoy. 😇🙏

you have probably already solved your bindery issue by now... but a word to the wise... most binders... will not have covers that have all the imprinting on the spine... as the one comes with from the publishers... you will no longer see the title of the bible.. or anything even perhaps telling you it is a bible on the new spine... some binders have covers that state "Holy Bible".. on the spine... but many do not

The one I have is a regular Bible...from before journaling Bibles. From your gorgeous photo I have a few years on you, and the type size is fine. Wish I could size it for you, but not sure...just regular...ha!

CandiKCan thank you for the great compliment- coming from a beautiful person as you are! I'm 43- so the eyes are starting to give me trouble! I like the large print- but i've noticed the bigger the print- the bigger the book! I love a worn bible. I have the James Macarthur bible as well Given to me by my friend for Christmas. i got the hardcover. . I like it- but I reverted back to my other right now. So i found that interesting that you described how I have felt.

This lady looks like a sweet woman. It’s a shame that she almost had the right Bible new king James is not the one you need to go to King James version you missed out on so much with those perversions. I started out with the new king James and I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Then I got a king James, went back to the new king James and realize that I had a fake Bible. So I’m not criticizing her I’m just wishing that she would’ve done some research and realized that there’s a deception out there. Now I will say the new king James has the most truth of all the perversions but it still fake Bible. However it’s not too late . I’m just writing this not to start trouble just to let people know. When they started with the new translations they said well it’s just to make it more understandable, 300+ versions later that’s an average of over one per year since they been doing this and that covers over 100 and something years. And the words that are too hard to understand , Hell, blood, Lord, Jesus, you get the point. As a great preacher once said you mess with my book I’ll mess with you!
