@@guineamations3743 yeah there was a video narrated by Internet Historian on someone else's channel going into the behind the scenes stuff and talked about the police threatening to block the mother's visa renewal if they didn't admit to it in the court case. I watched Hasan react to it and it was pretty convincing

I imagine actual teleportation would not be a fun experience. You'd have to break every single atom in your body down to the smallest level and then have it reform in a completely different place. Not only would that probably hurt, but God forbid the power ever go out while you're teleporting. That could literally kill you.
Or its like in Soma where its reassembling a copy of you at that location with all the same memories etc but the previous "you" is just deatomized. Its a really interesting and existential thought expirement and how you feel about it kinda differs based on if you believe who we are at our core is some type of soul or just the sum total of our biological parts i.e. is that really the same "you" that came out of that teleporter. Firstly because translating a language well enough to be used in casual conversation is not possible yet, words in other languages can have like 10 meanings, going though the possibilities already would take a bit to get right, but then the bot has to be able to detect context ok the fly since many do depend on that, thirdly some words just don't exist in English so it has to find a suitable substitute
Teleportation as far as we know it would always involve the original person dying and a new perfect copy up until the persons death being made. At least if done in real life
