Oh, boy. Seeing all this making of Peter Pan in a 1953 Disney animation gives me memories. I remember the end of the beloved classic film when I was little. I used to watch it by the time the end of Peter Pan and experienced the making of the story, back when my hero was still alive. Walt Disney, he accomplished so much to make his dreams come true until the end. I love the cartoon, dearly. I once had Peter Pan on video, now I have DVD of it after it was remastered many years ago. I am still like Peter Pan. Refuse to grow up and forget the precious of my childhood. I never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart, which is most important. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive forever. If I was in Neverland, I would not have to worry about growing up, strict rules or being told what to do. I may be shy and autistic, but inside, I am fun, hardworking and energetic because I am the child of God. I am a child within.
On Jan 6, I got to meet Margaret Kerry at a convention center for an animate con. It was a truly magical moment I’ll never forget. She was a sweet lady.

And Walt Disney too, in spite of how he treated the late Bobby Driscoll (1937-1968) which was a nasty side of him nobody liked about him
مش مصدق انها توقع على العيد الميلاد إمي اللي تصير عمرها ٥٨ و الفلومة الرسوم المتحركة نفسها تصير عمرها ٧٠ Can't believe that it falls on my mother's 58th birthday and the animated movie itself turns 70
This brings back memories! I use to think these bonus features were part of the movie since it was on vhs and it would play immediately after the movie was over
I remember watching this “making of” feature at the end of the VHS copy we had! The pencil sketch at 4:47 always terrified me as a kid. Just the combination of that weird shadow on the wall, the sinister music leading up to it, and the audio clip of Wendy calling for Peter made me look away from the TV every time it came up.
Since Walt Disney Has Been Gone For 50 Years (1901 - 1966) I Promised Him That I Will Never Stop Watching Peter Pan (1953) Or Any Of The Other Animated Film Classics He Produced Himself Long Ago. (1937 - 1967)
Katherine Beaumont (who is now retired) was then voice for both Alice and Wendy She's 85 as of this year She shares the same exact birth year of the late Bobby Driscoll (1937-1968 rip)
Henry Brandon (who played Silas Barnaby in MGM's Babes in Toyland) was the live action reference model for Captain Hook. Additionally, he was originally cast to play the voice of Captain Hook and Mr. Darling.
@@MrGabeanator jm Barrie once a Disney live action version not putting black people as Tinker Bell like they can cast like Margot Robbie or Dove Cameron to play Tinkerbell
Tinker Bell is a great character in the film. No wonder she is the third mascot of Disney (behind Mickey Mouse and Jiminy Cricket). I didn't know she was the non-dialogue character throughout. Tinker Bell needs to have a voice. Walt should've brought Ilene Woods (the voice of Cinderella) to bring Tinker Bell to pixie vocal life, or Luana Patten (Bobby Driscoll's companion) for that matter (in her only voice role).
Narrator: Hans Conried seen here as the face in the magic mirror was cast in the tradition of the stage play as both Captain Hook. Captain Hook: Blast that Peter Pan! Narrator: And Mr. Darling. George Darling: Out! Out I say! 9:10
And of course he’s in several other projects for Disney such as TJ in Ben and Me, Prosecutor in Story of Anyburg USA and King Stefan (model/additional voice) in Sleeping Beauty.
I still say that the late Mary Martin was the BEST Peter Pan! I'll NEVER forget her & I'm 76 now. Also, the idea of going to sleep,-- that's how I do it. No kidding-I imagine myself flying!😊
I Wish I Could Go To London. Because They’ve Done Peter Pan (1953) There. Along With 101 Dalmatians (1961) Mary Poppins (1964) Basil The Great Mouse Detective (1986) And Mary Poppins Returns (2018)
What will it be like if Captain Hook appeared in Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, and Digimon: The Movie as one of the main villains? If so, Peter Pan himself would've appeared in the second season and in the movie. Could've been exciting in my opinion Captain Hook should join forces with Jafar, Dr. Frankenstein, Hades, Electra, Emperor Zurg, Ursula, and Maleficent for Digimon.
it's not really walt or the director of chip n dale fault. its probably one of those people who is actually a disney CEO or one of the board members who wrote the story up and added a few parallels of bobby's aftermath story that got too dark
The ticking crocodile and its theme song always cracked me up. Think of how different Jaws would have been, if the shark had swallowed an alarm clock and was accompanied by the croc's theme song. And Quint had a hook from his experience with the USS Indianapolis ...
