You can GAME on Apple Vision Pro, Resident Evil 4 

I didn’t say it was VR gaming. This is one piece of gaming on Vision Pro. More videos to come. I also have a couple live steams of some of the native games

That's what I was going to say. The PSVR2 version of Resident Evil 4 is an incredible VR game. The immersion they're achievement in real VR is incredible. I have all the VR headsets and I can't find a useful reason to buy Apple Vision. I'm tired of people doing videos trying to make the Apple Vision something amazing and "WOW", but at the in end is a $4000 flat screen you have in your head. "Ooooh look at me, I spent 24 hours with this on my head doing the same things I can do on my iPhone"

@@ChrisR_90 agreed 100%. Gaming is the best use case for VR headset. Sadly skipped on AVP.

@@ChrisR_90 yeah the daily wear stuff is BS . the headset totally isn't built for that. I've owned a ton of headsets too and they all got barely any usage. Apple Vision Pro I think will get more usage for me. you should definitely go try it before you judge it. it really clicked for me and I really like it and it's the Mac Virtual Screen that did it for me as it means it's very possible for it to fit in my daily work flow. This is the first device I can enter FLOW STATE while working with it.

@@VisionProGamingGuy That would be awesome, however, I've heard that all IOS apps, by default, are supposed to work with the headset. So RE8 not being available means that the developers purposefully turned it's compatibility off. But this might mean they have plans to improve it, or add VR-specific features!... that, or it has issues running on the headset, so they just disabled it. But for 3500 %@#$ing dollars, it had better be able to run any game on the IOS store, and then some.

@@BionicFreakOfficial they work by default yes but developers have the option to disable distribution on macOS and visionOS. It’s unfortunate so many developers opt out.

this is just one piece of the gaming on AVP puzzle. I think people will be so surprised by gaming on AVP this year. Unity supports AVP now and unreal is coming soon too!

Except psvr is basically a dead platform already with not many people buying it and abandoned developer support 😖

@@VisionProGamingGuy haven’t got my hands on it yet! Been gaming on my m1 mbp. Just got off death stranding rn actually. By the time I could afford AVP I wanna aim for third gen so they iron out details on 2 and make a significant leap on 3rd gen per Apple fashion. Just finished resident evil 4 last week! So it’s nice to know that AVP basically gives you a huge screen for the AAA games coming out. Is death stranding available on AVP?

you should go try out encounter dinosaurs. it's a good preview of gaming to come on Apple Vision Pro. absolutely destroys anything I've ever experienced on any other VR headset in terms of realism and immersion.

@@VisionProGamingGuy I am sure dinosaur is an immersive experience. Especially with this kind of resolution. As for AVP surprising us within gaming area this year I really doubt it. The dinosaur is just an animation/a video. You would need fully blown out GPU to run proper VR game with this kind of resolution. No chance AVP could do that even with m2 and the other chip on board. But if Apple somehow will manage to run full AAA game on this headset I am taking a loan to buy it. I think sooner someone will manage to connect this headset to powerful windows PC and run the games that way.

oh it will surprise us with some entertaining games, not necessarily AAA VR games. there's just not enough GPU horse power for half lief alyx like experiences. to be fair though AAA VR experiences are pretty dead now too and there isn't many good games in development anymore

@@VisionProGamingGuy I mean if it’s for playing VR games, this headset is not for that. It’s a computer. And for flat-screen games, the PSVR2 does the same. it doesn’t take away its quality and what it can do. but not for playing.

functionality may be the same as a checklist item, but you have to take into account ease of use, audio video experience quality, stability quality, game availability, etc. but regardless. this is just one piece of the gaming puzzle on AVP . I have many more videos on AVP gaming to come :)@@gad41

Cool stuff! I think Mac virtual screen is the key feature that makes Vision Pro have real longevity

This is a computer The 2 totally different things. I’m assuming games are going to start releasing on The App Store maybe side by side to The pc

yeah this is just one feature. I'm doing more content including native gaming. the Vision Pro is only a M2 inside and has to render both L/R views and high resolution so it won't be doing AAA console rendering quality titles locally,.
