If you are a fan of American V-Twin Power, you are no doubt as excited about the Indian Challenger as we are! Out of the box, the Indian Challenger is already a disruptive model in the bagger segment, but with the addition of a few DENALI lights and a SoundBomb horn, this Challenger is ready for anything that you might encounter on your adventures!
Here are a few install tips to help you get your Indian Challenger outfitted. (Please understand that this was a custom install for a customer. If there is enough demand we can make these production parts.)
For the SoundBomb Split horn - we mounted the horn acoustic unit to the upper fan mounting point on the left side of the frame using a 10mm spacer, 35mm long x 15mm wide bracket (with a 15 degree bend in the center) using an M6x30mm socket cap head screw. We mounted the horn compressor unit under the right side cover (to the cover bracket) with a 14mm spacer, 3 inch flat bracket, and an M6x30mm socket cap head screw. (We understand that this space is empty for in North American model bikes but is filled with the evap canister for California and international model bikes). We used our universal horn wiring harness and tapped to the white wire of the 2-pin Indian Horn connector (blue & black connector under the headlight).
For the DialDim install - we connected the blue high beam trigger wire to the yellow wire of the Challenger 3-pin headlight connector located right underneath the headlight. We tapped the white switch power wire to an accessory +12v circuit under the seat. We tapped the green horn trigger wire to the same white wire on the 2-pin horn connecter under the headlight. We did not connect the DialDim to the turn signals for this install.

The two sets of DENALI Driving Lights are controlled by the DENALI DialDim Controller. The signature LED halo switch is not alone on the handlebars and is joined by a cup holder, infrared camera, and all of the other luxuries afforded to a bagger of this caliber. The DialDim allows the rider to control two light sets on the fly, monitor battery voltage, and unlock intelligent lighting features such as flash with horn, cancel with signal, flash with signal, and more.

If other drivers don't hear the roar of the V-twin coming down the road, a little help from the 120-decibel SoundBomb Split Horn is in order. The SoundBomb Split allows for the compressor and trumpet to be mounted in different locations, connected by the supplied air hose. On this motorcycle, the trumpet is tucked nicely on the left side while the compressor unit fits perfectly under the right-side engine cover (in place of the EURO/CAL EVAP canister).

We mounted a set of DENALI D4s down low on the forks using our universal fork mount. The primary driving lights for this motorcycle are a pair of DENALI D7s mounted on a custom mount that provides near-perfect long-range lighting coverage. Although a bit unconventional, the bagger world is full of bikes that value function over aesthetics.
