Omg thank you for showing the activity launcher! I wanted to change my DNS to a server that blocks ads, from the very first second I got the quest and just couldn't figure out how to open the settings. This video just absolutely made my day!!!!!
I don't own a Quest but since it's Android I'd imagine you could also install adb on your desktop. Then from command line type adb devices (while plugged in) and approve it on the headset. Then do adb install (path to apk). I'll give it a try with my XR Elite when that arrives.
Super useful video. Would have loved to see a few examples of like what the apps look like in the head set. I’ve been trying to find a way to run zoom on my quest so I can hop on video calls and do other work related things inside the headset, this might be the way. Also discord so would have been cool to see discord launch and what it looks like or other useful tools.
QUESTION: Hey Mystic, quick question. With Multitasking being or coming to the quest, do you think we could live stream our vr games directly to youtube now instead of jumping through casting nonsense?
They need a better way to live stream it's disappointing when the Quest 2 first came out you could live stream to Facebook but for some reason they decided to remove that feature.
@@dual2354 i never did understand that decision. I mean. Its powerful enough for sure. I wonder if we can cast to a phone and stream that rather than using a computer (my equipment was just stolen)
With Apple planning to get all iPad apps on its XR device I think meta will also pull a similar move saying all Play store apps can now be used in Meta headsets.
FIXED Im having a small issue, i plugged everything in and accepted the stuff on my phone and quest but my device didnt show up on the phones app. what do i do???!! Edit: Hey everyone, if you have this problem please note that you have to have the oculus app open and conected to your headset in the background.(or atleast thats what i did before it fixed)
The only problem I'm having is using my developer account. For some reason when I try to use / make a developer account it reedirects me to another meta page.
This is driving me insane. I had to register for a developer account through meta. I've done ALL THE STEPS. But when I get to the connect your phone to quest thing NOTHING HAPPENS. I even put my phone in developer mode to allow USB debugging and tha STILL didn't work. Gonna try and pick up a new usbc to usbc cable. Idk what else to do.
Virtual desktop isn't that much different from the built in airlink , you could also just buy like a $17 wire and do cable link which is better than wireless
@Persvicx yes yes i realize this was Made 3 months ago, but you seem to know quite a few things about vr settings and how to screw around with them anywho when doing it through my phone when accepting that the file is safe on my oculus it auto runs Google file on my phone any suggestions on how to prevent this ?

Hey, I have the v50 update but I still can't physically interact with the UI. Not with my controllers or handtracking. Any tips, or do I just have to wait and see if it comes to my headset eventually?
help needed. so i'm trying to play bonelab multiplayer but when i connected my quest 2 to my pc the library was empty (on pc) i tried checking if i needed to reinstall them but they asked me to buy it again. yes i'm logged into my account. any fix?
this deosn't seem to be working for me, I've previously installed sidequest and installed stuff in the past, but now when I run sidequest, it just tells me to reinstall on headset?
any idea on how to get google play games to work? i play marvel future fight and the only way to sync data is through play games or fb fb sync launches meta browser and i do login without issues but once done it gets me back to the game with just a black screen if i press the back button it gets rid of the black screen but the sync fails
I can't get it to work got anydesk setup and connected on both quest 3 and android Samsung but can't control phone on quest it just shows anydesk scree of phone but can't control it
I did all of this to get the xbox mobile app, so i could remote play my xbox on my quest, and its not installing because "this app is not compatible with this phone" . any help would be greatly appreciated.
What do the apps look like when you open them? and how do you open them? Can you do this without having an android phone to plug in to install Bugjaeger? Is that step even needed if you use a windows PC? Thanks
