Hello Pat, could u work in a new gym rerun guide? I think with Johto being added u would need 2 amuletcoins/riches charm, and this would give u more time to do more gyms. So it would become a 2 hours gym run max. Thanks.

Hey Pat, great guide. Btw, are there any Johto gym rerun guide for new players? Clair's 3rd re-run is quite crazy tbh since her team, especially Kingdra is stronger compared to previous times. I don't know how my level 93 Ampharos cannot one shot it. The other gyms were manageable, but Clair is proving to be difficult. A guide on this for new players would be much appreciated.

Kingdra is not easy to one shot, unless you use a dragon type move. Also I can't recall if that's the kingdra gym paired with a politoad but if so, stopping their rain early will stop kingdra's swift swim. Good luck gamer!

I'm beating her now with Typhlosion combo + Ampharos & Golem at start to defeat kindra & politoed combo (golem can survive with sturdy and stalling, while Ampharos uses Thunder with rain boost thanks to her politoed). After these two faint, I then can surely win with the Torkoal+Whimsicott & Typhlosion combo :)

You need pokedex completed and every elite four beaten to access mt silver

Do you mean, you're getting wild encounters even with repel? Are your Wobbuffet levels higher than the wild encounters? (at least the one at the front of the party)

How do you take one hp of each opponent sandstorm wont work because blastoise and charizard inflicts wheather condition And red doesnt ever switch pokemon so you need to use roar or something but how

one question why ppl not using donphan too?, he had sturdy access move to endeavor and ice shard, i use that strat back then to beat all bosses except ghost one.

Tbh that is a HUGE drop from 300ish k to 220k... AND you were using a charm... what are the raw payouts of the first fight with red, its 300k right? Also, im now excited to see if this payout decreases EVERY week, cuz then this weekly gym rerun strat would become less viable every week

First try it's 300k after 1st try its set on a much lower price

So if I want shiny suicune do I get 1 per completion of jhoto or is it a 1% encounter hunt I can keep fleeing for until I get it?

Once you meet suicune, its locked (works the same for alphas and swarns). You can retry 1billion time, you will have the same non shiny suicune (if its a non shiny) with same ivs, same stats, etc. Ofc if the first suicune is shiny, you will meet a shiny suicune all the time u are facing it

It is NOT a %1 encounter for many people it takes 1.5k encs

Mt silver requires dex completion and every e4 beaten and you can use your battle points to buy things at hoenn battle frontier/kanto battle tower/unova battle surway

A lot of things can be bought by BP. Competitive items like choice items, life orb, leftovers etc. And breeding braces are the best bp burner. You could breed some comps for cheap and sell them as you aren't paying for the braces at all. Excellent way to convert bp to money
