There's this thing called 'bing maps'. They use Satalites to map The earth.. Edit: For y'all getting confused over why they wouldn't just use google, Bing is owned by Microsoft...
They made this game for kids and young adults that are maybe disabled Or cant Be a pilot of Their dreams and its for safety so u can fly an plane from your Seat at home without killing Or disturbing anyone
Mæverick yeah you should be able to, I saw brisbane intl. in one of the preview videos and everything in the city was all as you’d expect irl so I guess the entire world is pretty accurately portrayed to the satellite data :D
Microsoft said that the entire game is 2 petabytes in size, and you stream the highest quality maps from their servers in real time to get that quality. Otherwise, you can download maps locally at lower quality settings for offline use.
@uranus is mine Obviously when you came back to this time you split your timeline, that's just time travel 101. In one future you have a house, in another future you don't.
@@jonahflint4200 you know. there is an episode on the power puff girls with this idea you mentioned lmao. I remember seeing it as a kid and I've always thought it was an awesome movie idea. Basically this kid is playing a video game of a giant robot or monster and hes smashing the city, but hes actually controlling a robot in real life and is smashing everything, the kid didnt know tho. Lol
@@user-tb3bh5ch1q yeah! The only game I've played except SA, GTA V, Battlefield 4 is Fsx. And its awesome so I'm hyped for this game but is it coming for pc?
GEOMETRIC NUKE not really, they use bing maps and is being streamed to the game so they didn’t build your house. Well maybe if your house is really famous and huge. Oh this was 9 months ago you probably already know
@@Alex-zm8ru lol not possible in current age considering how much money one would have to spend just to maintain a server of like 120+ players GTA 6 will just be another GTA with better graphics, gameplay and other improved aspects, that's it
I remember when I was younger talking with friends online back when we all played gta iv and talked about the idea of playing a free roam across the entire world, this is that lil bit closer.
We have the entire world modelled now.. Anybody can take this information and turn it into a open world game like ARMA III, I can already imagine the military implications of having real world geometry and physics available to test with on the fly. ARMA was already used a military training sim... Imagine this with the right dev behind it.
GTA 6 is gonna look better than this. This looks great because you’re far away from the ground, but in a game like GTA where you’re really close to the ground you need much better graphics than this
"this is a SIM for Simmers" made my day. I'm not a flying lover but I D totally take a few days to actually learn how to "play" this sim. Glad they didn't dumb it down just for sales.
@@baronfresco I think that would be pretty cool. But not likely considering the mechanics of the game. That's not an easy thing to Mod into this. However, this team has confirmed that they're sharing this tech with all Microsoft Studios... So a future Forza Horizon game with this tech is possible ;)
