It was recently reported that wage growth in the US has been surpassing inflation since May 2023. How many people out there can say that their current take-home pay is outpacing the cost of how much everything is going up in price? In Canada if your insurance is bundled with your house and car insurance, companies can legally do a credit check. If your insurance is not bundled you keep the house and car separate then they can’t check your credit score and use your credit score against you. Just a tip it may work the same way in the USA.

They also work for the hospital, who have absolute control over them, more than the two entities you mention. The worst thing that happened is all the private doctor clinics being bought out by the major hospitals, and they are now employees of said hospitals. A perfect example is my doctor believes Ivermectin works very well for COVID-19, but he will not write a prescription for it because the hospital forbids it. I just go to a farm supply store and buy it for ten bucks a tube, which gives me five one-day doses of 23 mg.

@@delaville680boomers hold double that in assets. There are more assets than liability and a majority of the owners of the debt are 🇺🇸 citizens. Not saying it wouldn’t hurt but paying the debt is an option l, take the assets from boomers to pay the debt that was accumulated during the boomers lifetime; this is more just than leaving the debt for future generations and also leaving the wealth as inheritance that these rich boomers hold.

I can't get out of a dentist appt without getting pitched for thousands in "deep cleaning" or implants - for the same teeth I've had no problem with for 20 years.

My last deep cleaning was around $150 out of pocket for one side. I hadn't been to the dentist for many years so a deep cleaning was definitely needed. If they're trying to charge you thousands for one deep cleaning then you're either out of network or you have terrible insurance. 😂

I 100% feel like the Real Estate agents are working against me. When I sold a property, the agent misrepresented the buyer, who was another agent, depriving me of the opportunity to negotiate his commission so I paid commission to the buyer to buy my place. I wanted to sell it at a fair price to someone who actually needed a place to live and ended up selling to another investor. My agent knew what I wanted, and at the end, he was never available to even get the keys from me, I still have them! Also, I’ve been trying to buy something and absolutely feel that I only get to see picked over properties that the agents have decided they don’t want. They really suck.

If the buyer is a realtor they need to disclose the fact once serious negotiations begin. However it is not on the burden of your realtor to sell it to a selective demographic - their job is to simply sell the home. You are the one with the final say on accepting an offer.

As far as buying in Miami specifically, the properties are still selling quickly for the most part. Some sellers only want to sell to cash buyers, some properties wont get appraised at the value you're borrowing for. So maybe that is why you are not seeing many options.

Greed has infected all aspects of society and industry and because of this Greed problem it has led to un-trustworthiness. Just look at anything regarding "Sales" for example. Yes, we have economy issues but that hasn't stopped people from jacking up the prices to ridiculous levels. People have become so greedy and they don't feel one bit bad about it. A few of them are honest. It helps to do your research and they realize when they're talking to someone who knows something about cars. They'll back off if they realize that you know that they're lying to you. It also helps to get a second and even third opinión sometimes but they do use scare tactics to get you to immediately accept the charges.

I trust my physician more than my dentist or any dentist for that matter. Most dentists are always pushing yearly X-rays. I am 81 YO, and I have never had a problem discovered by a routine X-ray. I only have an X-ray once every five years, and they keep pushing me to get them more often. Now, if I need wisdom teeth extracted, or I am having an issue, that is another thing.

Flood zones are also a factor that few think about when looking for a home. I have to carry flood insurance on a home in West Texas in an area that gets about 15 inches of rain a year. There is a dry creek bed that runs at the back of the property. Imagine my shock that the mortgage company demanded flood insurance on top of traditional insurance.

My dentist is Awesome!! My Dr was /is Awesome Dr of the year in the past at the state and national level. He retired and works at a free clinic for the working poor who don't qualify for Medicaid or Medicare and can't receive help. He always had time for me and so does my Dentist!

I’ve been a Registered nurse for 19 yrs and I’ve lost so much faith in the medical industry as has as many others. I had hopes of going back for NP, but decided against it bc I just can’t compromise my ethics to fit into the medical industrial complex. I want to treat ppl as individuals and as holistically as possible. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a lot of upwards mobility for me in that realm in this world. Feels like most ppl have sold out at this time we live in. Guess we’ll just have to keep grinding it out the best we can in an upside-down world.❤

I am 52 years old, i wanted my blood checked for anything that i should be concerned about, they charged me $ 600.00 to check my blood. When the results came back, they said i was low on Vitamin D. I wonder, do they just tell everyone that???? Not like a wanted a negative result but did they even check my blood .....at all ???

The locals are being forced out of West Maui. Some are still temporarily housed in hotels in the Kaanapali area, but many have been forced to move to the mainland (Las Vegas is the most popular destination for them) - they have been priced out of the area. A few have moved to other areas of Maui or to Oahu or the Big Island. It's really sad! They lost the battle over the toxic waste dumping from the fire (the attack). The local government is corrupt and, despite locals occupying government positions, does not care about its people. Most locals are too afraid to speak out. It's a disgusting and sad situation.

I keep wondering. Obviously it's a huge risk but would it be preferable if Florida did NOT require property insurance? It's a risk for homeowners and banks and many people would be wiped out after a storm but people are sick and tired of unaffordable property insurance. Hi dear, Iust turned 71, live in Arizona, decided I hate the desert and Scottsdale people, so I was thinking of Florida - realtors lied to me about the rising costs of the HOAs and insurance, so Florida is out. Gonna check out towns near Austin TX, also Costa Rica. Maybe Mexico. Keep looking around, you'll fine your perfect home - most important is your health so eat as close to vegan as possible and keep moving.

I disagree that the good credit score/high GPA thing has nothing to do with the car insurance rate. These are indicators of how responsible overall a person is and this is most likely reflected in their driving habits as well.

Back in the day, older cars were built to last, like my 2003 Toyota Corolla... Now, this country wants them off the road in order to get new car sales up with monthly payments that are higher than a mortgage, and let's not forget the full insurance coverage needed until that 7or 8 year burden is paid off... 🙄

I don’t owe anything on my cards or lines of credit, I called to reduce my 28 thousand dollar credit limit to 15 on one of my cards just because I don’t need it that high, my credit went down from 822 to 792 right away, go figure.

I stopped going to my arthritis doc because nothing happens ,but just us talking. Then at the cardiologist the stress test shows no blood flow. Angioplasty, paid $5,900 deductible paid to hospital. Results, my heart is good, strong and no blocked arteries. It's definitely frustrating.

no begrudges someone making money off their work but you have to honest. many ceos are hired on teh idea they have no concern for others to hire fire raise costs and reduce payments etc, dishonesty has no place in life anywhere. profit over right and wrong is never okay, even God says do not bear false witness do not steal and do not put other things above worship of him people today worship power money their own egos or selfish desires.

The inflation versus income chart is a great example of distrust. It's a chart of RATES. The yellow line looks lower than the blue line at the end, but the previous yellow spike wiped everybody's saved money out. I've always thought insurance was a good business to be in. Sell a product that people legally have to buy, then make sure you don't pay any benefits.

Brought my car in for an oil change. The mechanic recommended $5000 worth of Maintenance work. The car is in great shape only 40K miles. Will never see him again. Another mechanic recommended changing the transmission fluid when the car had 28K miles at a price of $900 several years ago. Yeah right.

In FL new home sales, I am very leery about what's advertised up front for the HOA cost. The builder advertises an extremely low attractive rate around $75 per month. I'm sure a year later it will be jacked up. "Bait-and-switch".

So in Florida there are approximately 7.5 million policy holders. The average policy is around $2300. SO, being conservative with $1500 a year for 10 years, insurance companies had over $110 billion in revenue. If $53 billion in claims, where does the other revenue go?

The problem with insurance firms is that the climate insurance risk is either unmeasurable or the pool of insured are ALL high risk so it is not insurable because there is no way to dilute the risk.

so true I remember reading an account in the bible where ruth and noami were very poor but they still had a house. houses were family owned and never would be sold your land could be sold but only until the 50 jubilee where you got it back free and clear. you basically were just leaseing it out. so yes ou should not have to pay to keep your house once paid off. if they want to lease the land to you they need to specify that and the terms and end clause to where you ownt he land as well. but your just renting it, in fact I gather that the great reset is about owning it all and renting it out to the 99 percent. for life, a permenant income stream forever. greedy creeps.

True, I have to educate my doctor on the side effects of drugs she wants to prescribe me. Even had to educate her on the adverse effects of Moderna's gene therapy which she was pushing to all of her patients. Thank God she realized what harm she was causing!
