Well, I was going to comment, but I had to listen to this version three or four times first. Then I had to punch up the Beatles' original and listen to **that** a couple of times. Then I had to come back here and listen to this one again a couple of times. **FINALLY** I can comment: Well done, as always, Michael! It's incredible - a masterpiece recreation of a masterpiece. And to think, this guy almost elected to have a career in the law! Or was it politics? Anyway Michael, glad to see that you are pursuing music, your true calling. Keep it up :)
Your recreations are incredibly accurate ... comparable to Ryohei Kanayama and, sometimes, better. There is one song The Beatles recorded in 1965 (that was almost included on the Help! album) called "That Means A Lot" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/That_Means_a_Lot). It was eventually released as part of Anthology. Unfortunately, no one ever recorded an instrumental recreation for "That Means A Lot". As a hobby, I've completed my own vocal covers of all Beatles and I'm in the process of posting all of them before the end of the year (just posted Rubber Soul) but I cannot find a good instrumental cover for "That Means A Lot". I've waited many years and I'm happy to wait many more but, eventually, please add "That Means A Lot" to your list!!!
Hey amigo! Te haz dado cuenta de que las nuevas remasterizaciones de los album's Red and Blue de the beatles tienen un sonido muy parecido a los de las mezclas de tus covers? A caso Giles Martin y tu estudiaron en la misma escuela de produccion musical o usaste algun plugin similar a los que el usó, que podrias decir al respecto? Una buena idea para video podria ser analizar los cambios en las mezclas de los discos compliatorios de los beatles y compararlos con tus grabaciones, o por qué suenen así ahora las pistas de los beatles, perdona tantas palabras, pero enserio me voló la cabeza pensar que tus pistas y las nuevas de los beatles suenan bastante parecidas.
This is a stupid awesome cover. My only thing, I would say, is that the high-hat kinda washes out the rest of the drums, especially the snare. It may be my earphones, who knows. Besides that, it's super amazing. keep it up
