It amazes me to this day how these businesses think they have a right to demand answers from members of the public stood in public holding a camera. And if you dare not answer us we will phone the police and report you for absolutely nothing. Furthermore they believe they own the airspace over there properties. These people need there head examined😂😅

People need to learn that if they ask a question, or have a request, they might get "No" as an answer. I've noticed it's more and more common for people to be really shocked when someone says "No" Whether in situations like this, or every day with friends, in shops etc.

When someone tells me I can't do something, that I'm legally and physically able to do. I loose my politeness. When someone threatens me, in an attempt to stop me. I bristle up and get offensive. The threat to call the police, is a threat of violence towards you. People need to realize, " in this day and age " , there is no situation that the police can't make worse. 🇺🇲

Hi N A, the first encounter with that woman about five minutes in was quite interesting, she was obviously a bit anxious and faced with a totally unfamiliar situation got caught up in her own insecurity to be able to behave in an entirely rational manner, she was reasonable enough in her request that you desist in your efforts but her failure to comprehend your legal right to do as you please was making her life very difficult. Both of them will have to learn from this experience and it is quite common for people to think that they own photons that have reflected from their property. He say you won't do it., she repeats her request based on her belief!. When you explain that you are not bound by GDPR her cannot understand because it conflicts with her cognitive delusions. She is so convinced that she is in the right that she wants to go a dig a bigger hole for herself. Actually there is no legal distinction made between air space over property!, there are some zones where flying is forbidden and that proscribes photography, these zones are all clearly identified on the drone navigation app that fliers have to use, you cannot fly a drone over them but if you could it is the flying that is against the law not the filming. What this poor sap does not realise is that his sad performance is going to get quite a lot of exposure, this is one of the greatest strengths of 'free speech' that it allows all fools full exposure!. When businesses say that they have sensitive client information, that should surely be something that they kept hidden and not laid out in the yard to be blown about in the wind. I know you get the odd business owner showing you about dude but that's quite rare, I see way more people saying that they can't allow it because they don't understand it, nowt so strange as folk

This is a good learning time for businesses ( whether they want it or not) that they are legally vulnerable to drones , so if they DO have secrets , uncovered outside is not secure , it can be legally filmed .

That was a superb audit mate. Your excitement that the building was a lot longer at the back made me chuckle. It’s amazing that people give in to a commercial business when they have a reasons to film and survey their properties even when it will not benefit them, but will not allow the same free activity to an individual. The business is private, situated in public. Calling the police is ridiculous that’s why you hire security personnel and close off the premises. Privileged, entitled and clueless. The Police are not a security gang that private companies can bring in to enforce their own feeling and policies. The Police have much better things to do than attend these pathetic attempts to control what people do in public. Just relax and let it happen, its legal and people are allowed to do it.

i always get amused when they bring up the "GDPR" card! The "DP" bit stands for data protection, which obviously means it's up to the company to "protect" any data that needs protecting, not the general public being able to see and/or video it!

You do tend to give the impression that you are asking for permission....I know you tell them otherwise, but initially you appear to be asking rather than telling. However it amazes me how quickly they escalate things when you insist on filming/drone flying.

Best drone footage on RU-vid, just a little suggestion, maybe don't ask them not to ring the police cause I think it makes them think they've got you worried, maybe just say "Don't waste your time" :)

It really does suprise me how thick and stupid some people are. These employees are the worst. If they kept their noses out of people's rights they would have a great day at work. They think they know the laws and what they don't know they make up as they go along. The drone operator told them numerous times what he was doing was completely legal & lawful but they chose to ignore him believing that they were right. Maybe they ought to come back out and apologise when they found out that the Operator was doing nothing wrong.

If you want your house blanked out on Google Earth, there’s usually a reason. Criminals like theirs blanking out for example. Either that or extreme paranoia.

It's a pity that once these companies see your drone footage they dont make a comment and thank you for your amazing footage of their companies but ofcourse they don't want to see how unprofessional they have been
