Matter of fact, the only time I do feel a void is when I am surrounded by MOST people!!!! All my life all I had was school and work. My family is dysfunctional and my parents pretend they don’t have kids so I grew up working hard for attention but I realized no one would give me the time of day. So I work two jobs to pay my way through medical school. I thought I was ok with being alone but my dog just died and I lost it. I’m truly alone now and my gpa or cash just don’t bring me any warmth but this speech makes me rethink my values
