You had great overall presentation of the video man, but you didn't actually give your reasoning as to why the pulse 3d isn't worth the money which kind of makes the video pointless. You simply said "I expected more" and didn't elaborate
Let me help elaborate The benefits are: they play decent 3d audio not incredibly loud but mediocre and they have decent battery life they also come with an extra charging cable which the controllers dont, lastly the audio jack helps when not connecting to the ps5 or something with an USB port. The downside: the microphone is the worst of the downsides because it broadcasts everything to the point that you're teamates can hear you're neighbors conversation at dinner. It can only be configured on the ps5 to change the settings and the settings are very very limited. They have an audio button to mute and unmute on the headsets would be a really really nice extra feature if it didn't overwrite the mute and unmute button on the controller so there's times when taking you're hand off the controllers to unmute can be the difference between life and death in game which is a testament to the lack of configuration they have as a simple software patch could fix the issue. They have no Bluetooth capability and you either use the USB port or an audio jack which is a problem with newer phones and such as the audio jack has been phased out for the USB c port so I had to get an adapter. Ultimately I bought my brother a steel series that has the same quality of sound and a microphone that I could yell over his shoulder and no one would hear me for half the price. It can be a problem when both you're controller and the earphones are dead as you can only charge one at a time from the ps5 charging cable also it has the same cable issue where you're never sure which is the right way to plug the cable in properly. Lastly I'd just like to correct the dude making the video to say that he's wrong about the high quality dualsense as ive never seen controllers break so easily on any console ever! I'm very upset with sonys accessories as for the price they are bad quality and we can easily get better further more the lack of compatibility with 3rd party peripherals force us to use the bad quality over priced Sony products and just like the ps5 being incompatible with everything like wise there controllers and head phones have the same level of compatibility on other devices. Their focus is now on exclusives and so improvements on their actual peripherals and the console itself are pretty much none existent. My head band just snapped I'm busy gluing and screwing it fixed took 2 years to happen which isn't bad however I'll not be buying a Sony headset or console ever again because they have shifted their focus and no longer provide the same quality and service for their products they'd rather create a pro controller where you can swap the analogies sticks when needed then fix the root of the problems. I want a console company focused on my console and not games Told myself there will be improvements 3years ago and I'm still waiting.
I needed the Pulse 3D, sounds great. Now I'm gonna get the Pulse Elite and give my P3D to my son. I'm also getting the Pulse Explore earbuds to fit with my Playstation Portal ❤🔥
I'm getting the elite as well, but I have zero interest for the portal. That thing seems really vexing for someone like me. I game wired everything for a reason, no lag input or connectivity. Every review I've seen on the portal has shown its laggy and recent ones are showing its a huge downgrade compared to just going to the game/living room and playing. Will not buy the portal or recommend.
Not gonna lie bro, the ppl trashing the PS Portal in reviews simply didn't know what the hell they were talking about. Smh They were most likely "trying to be the first" to cover the new device for views and likes on their channels and social media bs 😂 I just got my Portal about 2 weeks ago and I love it! Key things to note below for no lag experience that these trash reviewers failed to mention. 🤦🙄 1. Make sure PS5 is hardwired into Ethernet and not on WiFi and PS5 set to LAN connection. Also, make sure it defaults to 5G and not auto if applicable 2. Turn PS5 display resolution settings down to 1080p on your TV first 3. Then Unplug HDMI cord from back of PS5 so full signal goes to the PS Portal 4. Set in-games graphics option to Performance/Framerate Mode if applicable. And THATS IT... I LOVE THIS THING MAN! 😎🎮🔥
I have the new astro A50 and to be honest in the new Call of Duty I still can't hear footsteps my friend that has these the 3D said he can hear him do you think that's true..??? 🤔

The 3d pulse actually is really good, I use it for my ps5 and pc honestly very very underrated headset, dam near one of the best also people forget Sony made them Sony makes the best audio devices to date, but I say wait for the new one that comes out in February it’s basically a 2.0 version of the pulse 3d.

I have the headset. It’s actually nice, gives you preset audio and u can also customize to your liking. The audio is crisp and the mic isn’t bad at all. Worth the $100 if u love gaming 🏈💙
DON’T ROB PEOPLE OF THE OPPORTUNITY TO TRY THESE HEADPHONES! Although this video is not ENTIRELY false, it fails to recognize the real VALUE of the PULSE. YES, material is not the greatest, ear shape is not the most comfortable, mic quality is bad BUT!!! SOUND QUALITY is 11/10, PERFECT for single player experiences I.E God of War, Spider-man 2 etc. The sound is sooo good that it’s criminal they only charge $99 for it. I own A50, artics nova pro and even tried out the 7P.. YES ABSOLUTELY, the other headphones beat the Pulse in comfort and quality of material BUT NONE OF THEM COME EVEN CLOSE to the sound quality of the Pulse nor its price point.. If you own a PS5, I urge you to try them out. The sound quality will blow your mind.
So what is wrong with the headphones and why are they not worth buying? I've had people saying that these are better than Astro a50s for gamimg as in hearing footsteps ect...????.
my opinion might be different considering i listen to music more than the game itself, but the sound quality is amazing, and since your able to control aspects of the listening is great. but the mic needs more work done on it.
The games we been getting for the past 4 years when it came to online games have been so meh most online games now are going right for competitive instead of making a fun game and then they fill the game up with 20 to 30$ skins so it just doesn’t feel fun they just want all you’re money then they leave

There are much better headsets on the market but I 100% disagree, respectfully that is, with your opinion on the quality of these headphones for what you get with them being wireless at a $99.99 price point.
I truly thought the sound quality would be much better. Something is just off even with the eq enabled it doesn’t compare to my old turtle beach headset
Thanks for the video but this product is utter shite, it has this weird buzzing noise from the left speaker, it starts up in monitor mode even though the monitor mode is turned off and I have to turn it on again off again to get it to be normal, and then there's the constant beeping mid game, I had never regretted buying a Sony product in my life but this is the first time....I hope I can return it or fix it or something🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

3d pulse is garbage. They last 4 to 5 months then the ear cups start coming off. I went through two of them. Sound is excellent but they are very cheaply made. If you want great headsets get the astro A40 or A50 or even sonys more pricey Inzone H7 headsets that last longer than the 3d pulse. Avoid the 3d pulse.
Dont waste your money on these, Steelseries will cost a little more but the are the best bang for your buck hands down. Quality, Comfortability, Price, Design, Sound all incredible.
