You only get hp gains when u have a restricted exhaust.if they don’t restrict from factory, you don’t see any gains from straight piping.

Muffler delete doesn't take power away. People say that it loses compression but I couldn't find out why or how. I know the more air you can move through is better to keep the engine cooler. You can still here that tire chirp on that first run though.

So I've heard people say you don't lose speed but you lose some torque like it just doesn't want to pull quite the same

I think you would have to tune it since the A/F ratio would be off. It isn’t considered stock anymore. But if you’re going to tune it i suggest you finish your build then tune. It would Be a waste to tune a car because you deleted cats lol l

I know when I did my muffler delete on my car I had no difference in power but it's good you're able to show people with your own "research" that the muffler delete ain't bad at all.

Great video👍. I did a resonator and muffler delete on my 2017 Cadillac Escalade and noticed an increase in low end hp, torque.

Solid 0-60 runs. Which intake upgrade are you looking at? I would suggest for the money the hellcat lower, upper airboxes and the snorkel and air dam in the grille. IAT and ambient temps are within 3° F.

You def can get to a 4.2 sec time...i was excited when I reached that.....and it was using launch and sport mode on continental Dws tires..,,,,and like you said.....its something about a 4400 pound 120 inch wheelbase sedan that can hit those numbers..,,,of course you expect lighter, sport coupes to do it...but the fact that a bigger sedan does it is crazy..,lol...

The only thing that happened to me was after the delete I notice I little raise in rpm while desalerating it will stay on 2000 for a sec before lowering its kinds weird

Of course there is no power loss whoever said there was is clueless. You freeing up exhast flow and losing weight off the car. Probably 5 to 10 hp gain depending on the power a car has. 200hp maybe 5hp 500hp car 10hp maybe a little less or more depends if it a boosted car or not. Intake helps for sure when you do both together.

Not that simple. Exhaust scavenging plays a role in torque and back pressure if not retuned on some vehicles

If anything with the mid muffler delete you will lose a little bit of force down low but not power. If you don't lose any low-end torque that means the mid Mufflers were less restrictive than we thought. Also you can blur the video all you want I've only been to New York once and I know where you were.

@@antoniojunco7038 well I don't have this car anymore...I sold in 2 years ago for my current Daytona Hellcat. But yes your car is older but I doubt you'll lose any power. But if you feel like you do just put the mufflers back. I appreciate 🙏 your support!

Maybe slightly because you're releasing more air when you get a muffler delete but probably not noticable.

It’s good to see you didn’t lose any power from that delete. Good times for the 0-60’s dude! I’ve just started experimenting with my 0-60’s, best so far is 4.7 with stock Goodyear 245’s at about 40 psi.
