The bride's mum wants her daughter to wear a sexy dress, and to get what she wants she is not afraid to use her 11-year-old claws. Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 133, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
Why is nobody talking about the fact that the bride’s mother wants the bride to wear a ‘sexy’ dress and the bride wants to be conservative? Like honestly the roles are reversed here
Thing is though, there's nothing sexier than a woman who's covered up and still doin' the dang thang. She rocked all those dresses...bc she classy. Her mama....could learn a thing or two.
How does a person do normal things with those fingernails? How does she wash her hair, get dressed, type on a computer keyboard, make a meal....? The impracticality of those nailed boggles the mind!
Yeah doing the hair confuses me cause I get one small chip on a nail and that shit is constantly snagging my hair also the cleaning of the ass I doubt its clean completely 💀
I worked with a nurse who had acrylic nails , and I( accidently) broke two of her nails while transferring patient. She took 30 min to "fix" them ,had to take the rest off. Took her a while to replace them (1970s) so everyone was safer, including me!
My mom and I are like this. I've always been more of a plain frump compared to her, lol. No, she wasn't out wearing halter tops or anything but she's always cared more about fashion than me. Granted, she and I were opposites in our upbringing as well. She's the baby of three children, two sisters over ten years older than her. I was the middle daughter of two brothers so I shunned being too girly :)
Not just the moms. Seems like everyone from sisters to bridesmaids and sometimes even the groom, all act like THEY’RE the ones wearing the dress. Wouldn’t be me. *COULDN’T* be me 😤
Disgusting nails, terrible attitude towards her daughter and what a superficial egocentric hypocrite ! The dresses chosen by that mother did not respect the brides wishes, the laughing was really rude and dis respctful ! I am sad that that lovely young Lawyer did not get a chance to have it her way and fell into what her mother wanted . Lady go get your nails cut !
@@mushroomdance5613 Before getting to the appointment, explain to your Mother , with calm, that it will be your and your futur husbands day, that no one else can choose what you will feel beautiful and comfortable in . Yes she may give advice, that is normal for a loving Mother, but with kindness and respect .
The Life Of Kamara of course she hasn’t, never to my face?? And about how she looks on her wedding day??? I’m sorry if you’d think it was normal if your mom treated you that way
Izzie Ley I’m srry but like I said it’s staged no mother would do that your mother isn’t the best in the world because no one is because no one is and you should know that
That dress wasn’t cute. Y’all be so pressed when the family has a negative reaction but I’d be happy I had people out there that didn’t want me looking a mess
@@AlllSmiless You're right... then I would take drastic action by saying that she can't attend my wedding unless they're cut. I know it's harsh but... my gods if I was the kind of person who wanted the centre of attention on me I know that those kind of nails would just ruin the wedding pictures.
Mom: “you don’t want the nails to come out”. Me: Gurl your nails are curlier than the curly fries at the grocery store, you ain’t scratching anyone with those
Kathleen Phillips right she was so sweet and trying to be supportive while the brides mom and sister were just cackling. Her grandma was so excited when the bride looked happy.
@@serenalovescats wearing white at a wedding or even dress shopping is considered very rude to do cause it means that you think you deserve the bride's attention
She glowed in the second dress. It was gorgeous on her! Sad, when she said, she wasn’t enjoying her day! My mother would have never expressed her opinion like that!!
That was really sad when she said her mom ruined the experience. This girl is an attorney and still hasn't earned respect from her mom. How sad. Even when her mom liked the dress she sounded sarcastic! I hope she knows shes never gonna please her mom and live for herself.
This bride needs to get a whole new family the fact they laughed when she wore a beautiful dress shows you how childish they are,I wouldn't be surprised if they bullied her into doing what they wanted when she was younger.
I think she could wear statement jewelry, it could possibly look okay, but not this shade. The grey-blue clashes horribly with her tiara and the dress fabric.
@Slowed Down Music Whenever i see the demon underneath my bed looking at me, i just show the picture of her mother and just for a night, we actually talked about our feelings and how we were just both scared to get a walloping from that woman and we lived happily ever after.......Then i woke up.
I liked that the headpiece had pearls, as her theme was diamonds and pearls. Necklace was gaudy and tacky. Her original earrings were better than the ones they used.
clwbchbabycakes you’re right! Personally tiaras aren’t my style but it did go well with her theme/dress/veil. But the earrings and necklace was just too much and it actually took away from her natural radiance :P
The jewellery were just samples to see how she would look like, if she wanted something similar. Jewellery aren't included when you purchase a wedding dress.
What's nastier? Like: *Mom's nails* Comment: *Mom's attitude* Edit: Goddamn y'all, chill out with the "both"'s. Edit #2: I completely forgot about this comment. It just suddenly blew up my notifications, lol.
Someone aught to give her a hard slap. What kind of mother, or anyone laughs at their daughter/friend when trying on wedding dresses. I almost sizzled out with rage during this scene.
Keira Charlton They did mention it in their comment though, just didn’t make the subject clear lol (Disgusting nails aside, she rocked every dress she wore honestly)
Why is the mom being like that? This is her daughter, she can't be acting like that! That's so rude they laughed. Btw I think the daughter has a great figure!
She's a lawyer. Pay for your own dress. Done. I hope the guy has a job and such. Because most men who aren't mooching aren't trying to date rich women.
The fact that they would laugh at her... that’s disgusting. She’s gorgeous! The mother’s only happy because she got what she wanted (the girl looked great in all of them regardless)
