You HAVE Esuna - FFXIV 

I think the best part is that we are shown what his bar looks like, and all this whm got is Glare, Holy, Afflatus Misery, and Res. He’s clearly got room. He can’t even use Afflatus Misery either because he has no lily spenders on his bar. Its actually brilliant.

The hardcast raise makes the bit perfect.

Remember kids, 8 seconds of raising can save you 2.5 seconds of esuna.

As a healer there is nothing I fear more than co-healers who dont know what esuna is in dun scaith.

Remember fellas, letting your party members die is a bigger dps loss than esuna

I play Bard and i get great satisfaction using Warden's Paeon

The 'esuna is a dps loss' has me really hoping for a 'You HAVE Reprisal' aimed at tanks next - A DRK main

Omfg this has happened to me before. I got so mad trying to explain this and the person refuse to remove doom off me and the tank to the point we just stop caring it took the entire group to yell at them to tell them to help with the esuna. They got mad saying esuna is worthless and not important...I asked why do you heal then if your not gonna help with that. Oh it ques quick thats why....

Reminds me of a Scholar I met in Cutter's Cry during Heavensward... Dude seriously flamed the DPS at the worm for taking damage and me as the tank when they died to the dot. When I explained the displell mechanic to them, they went: "I can't use Esuna because my addon doesn't let me." 🙄

There are way too many healers who never use Esuna or have no idea what they can cleanse. Its okay to not cleanse weaker dots. But if half your group got paralyzed, silenced or anchored for 10 seconds please help us.

It's a shame that the Hall of the Novice stuff never teaches healers about Esuna and cleansable status effects.

you have LV70+ healers that go entire time not knowing what Esuna is, nor went to use it from white line debuff icon. Tbh, its description should bluntly say to remove debuffs with a white line above them, something like that. Reminds me of many SMNs that do not know they have rez spell....since being a LV12 ACN. the hard rez ending was cherry on top of sadness sundae 💀

Bard uses Warden Paean to cleanse the tanks Doom marker. The Tank: "Thanks healer!" Bard proceeds to cry.

Even though I'm a Unga Bunga Warrior, Even when Played as a Unga Bunga White Mage I use Esuna because I remember the pain of being forgotten and left for dead with DOOM! So make sure you ALWAYS have Esuna and at the ready because you don't want anyone else to suffer the same way I did. Do you?

I'm a WHM main, and I even have space for SLEEP on my bar. The last time I used which was in ARR.

Funny thing, one of the level 90 dungeons has an Esuna Doom, which looks nothing like an Esuna Doom, just as a little curve ball to keep you on your to- aaaaand the healer/dps just died to it.

That ... hurts in so many levels Like the amount of times as a tank I'm just left with, idk, 7 different variations of poison and bleed, but nahhhhhhhhh poor Bard has to spam their Esuna on CD TwT

The hardcast raise at the end killed me, lol By the way, Doom that can't be Esuna'd is often cleared by getting the player back to 100% health. And if you're a healer on f*cking _The Dead Ends_ and you still don't know that, I WILL silently judge you before I explain the mechanic.

It's painful how true this actually is though. Not that I mind being main healer in Full Parties, but I AM only one person with limited Off Global heals.

Friendly reminder to healers that if Doom can't be removed with Esuna (Thunder God fight in Orbonne, for example) it can often be removed by fully healing the person afflicted with it.

A White Mage playing as a DPS. That sends back very painful memories.

What pains me to see is that he has afflatus misery in his hot bar but none of the healing spells that get you the blood lily stacks😅 also just as i post this i noticed the pinned comment

This happened to me in a roulette tonight. I had that Doom. It wasn't esuna'd.

This video reminded me that the default FF14 hotbars are just a row of buttons. Which reminded me I played with the bars like that until Shadowbringers when I got one too many buttons as warrior (somehow in hindsight) and switched to an mmo mouse.

Dying like this made me remember that as a bard you dont have this problem

Oh, very nice to know! I have played as healer, and used my own stat removal on Bard, but for some reason I never knew about the little bar indicating that Esuna could remove it, I usually just memorized which ones needed Esuna/Other removal, or required full heal. I'm presuming if Esuna works on it, so does Warden's Paean. Thank you for that. That will make is easier to know which technique is needed in fights going forward.

There are also some dooms that require being healed to full, and some that require walking over a glowing thing on the floor.

If there's one thing I really hate, it's people who macro messages (and notification sounds, apparently?) to their resurrection spells. I'm glad to see a video painting those people as the kind of people I like imagining they are.

Whenever i play healer im more sensitive to the tank's statuses and I've learned from day 1 that esuna totally a big help 😂

Red mage, Summoner, and Blm used to have Erase which was a long CD Esuna and a small heal. It was amazing, we also had a mana transfer ability to help out the healers. We need it back SO BADLY!

Accurate! The more annoying/judgy their rez macro is, the worse the healer tends to be XD

You either get the healers in dungeons who attempt to Esuna things without the blue bar, or people who don't know what Esuna is and let you perish to cleansable Doom. There is no in-between.

Was talking about this earlier when I got Disease and I was all (as a joke): "Healer, please, Esuna my bones.." This video got shared to me in discord after as I was giggling to some friends about the encounter. Love it~♥

I just went thru this today except my healer's excuse was "Lol I'm on controller don't have room". This was at the Dead Ends. LVL 90 AST, no esuna on hotbar...

Reminds me of 2 healer on O4 (Exdeath) who let one Tank die with the doom debuff and the Healer has a "Stop being Bad!" Rise Macro like.. Bruh..

If i have an esuna-able doom I will spam the party chat with "esuna please" I don't care if it's toxic, I never stopped using esuna on any healer I played, the only one I can kind of give slack for not having space bar room for it is sch.

This reminded me of the time when I rouletted into Wreath of Snakes as a tank and at one point in the second phase, me, one of the healers, and two dps died. The healer that was left alive wasn't tossing out any rezzes and when someone spoke up in chat aabout it, they said they didn't have rez on their hotbar.

I always have interchangable Esuna and Rescue at Alt+2 for every healer jobs in case of something like this. Its not often, but better be safe.😅

As a healer main who chucks out Esunas like hotcakes, this hurts my soul. Admittedly learned the benefits of Esuna back when I was just a BRD and used Warden's Paean (or the 45 second Esuna as I now like to call it) in order to help my healers during my first Dun Scaith clear. It's just...not hard to give an Esuna to the RPR who was too busy looking at Beatrice or Diabolos to remember they have Gaze mechanics.
