These hundred man runs are the highlight of my day. I think they are way more fun than endless. I hope Ryu resumes them (understand if he needs to stop for a bit). But I like hundred man WAY more than endless.
My heart breaks every time he says he won't do the endless episodes anymore. Those are the best of all the content he creates. That said, levels like level 2 must be mentally taxing all the time :D
Yes his patience and skill is the biggest contributing factor of why Ryu is a Legendary gamer even in my opinion I'm still trying to forge my own brand of Legendary gaming!
@@Cheesehead302 to be fair, there’s levels that would take some people a lot of time and lives (more than 100 perhaps yes), and then there’s levels that just straight up will not be beaten until they improve, this is the former
I think that Dead Zone level refers to how it's probably slow walking speed just beyond the dead zone of the analogue stick. Might've just activated hardmode for it with the D-pad, still cleared like a master.

Hey, i just kinda impulse bought a switch today and Mario maker 2. I know i might regret the decision later but I have been watching you (and others) play for so long and I borderline believed that i would never experience playing it. It may not be totally life altering event but to me it is something that I never thought possible. Just wanted to share it here. Thanks for all the hours of entertainment. Have a great day.

I miss mario maker 1 spikes. back when their hit box wasnt a thousand times bigger than them. 1:22 see if this was MM2, you'd have lost a life right here.
Didn't see any spikes 1:22. He did jump between two spikes at 0:58, but he had a shelmet on. I think that whole level would be mostly the same in MM2 b/c of the shelmet.
Stage 4 was short, but your concentration to one shot that was so very impressive the wife and I were both oohhing and awwwing. Always a pleasure watching you Ryu
I have an idea for the episode 100! Someone counts the times you lost (100 mario challenge) in your last 99 episodes, and then you die as many times as that, and start the run with number of lives equals the number of times you win the challenge in your last 99 episodes. What do you think ?🌷
@@berrim26 He recently had an episode where he almost finished at 100 lives but he just barely missed it. He even realized how he could’ve saved it but it was too late. Other than that I haven’t seen him do it
Ryu (and everyone)... I *just* realized something. WHY do these kinds of games *not* have record/leader boards for "1st ATTEMPT + cleared" stats or data?!? Omg... does anyone know of games which manage such a data point? "First try + must clear for run to remain active" types of videos would be literally insane, but CRAZY if someone did like... idk... 10 in a row. 💪😎🤟 Not on levels categorized as 'easy', obviously... but, still. That'd be crazy hyphy!!

If it's not fun anymore, then don't make videos of it. Just do what you like instead of doing what you think other people like. That's what it's about man. Don't get me wrong, I love your Mario Maker vids, watch them all the time, but you gotta do what makes you happy. And if playing Mario has transformed into something that doesn't make you happy anymore, then drop it like a bad habit.
It's not about it being a chore, it's about him having the chance to play something else. He played a lot of it for years and he potentially wants to stop for a bit or for good and of course, if he does, that content will be replaced by something else, maybe mario-related still.
For episode 100 you should do the all four difficulties while you carry over the lives to the next. Just like you did a few years ago, we gotta get another one of those runs!
