As you said, it's like a little secret that you only understand when you own one, if you just ride one for a short time you might not understand, but once you have ridden one for a while, you just get it and no other bike makes you feel like a Guzzi. I love mine too. Great video just not sure how many people we want to tell about the secret that is Moto Guzzi.
I started to drive guzzi as 14 year pld boy,V35 Imola, now 43,have it still in the garage, waiting new paint but Custom 1400 is there also for the pleasure.Planing in october to visit Factory in Mandello if the weather will be good. Two years ago I tested Custom and decided to sell Road King and to say goodbye to Harley and I took beautifoul silver Custom with additional, original windshield, hard bags, toiring seat and sissy bar... Best choice ever. Now I regret that I ever bought Harleys that I did 🤣🤣🤣
A terrific interview. Another interesting and quite engaging gent. In all my years I’ve never ridden a Guzzi. But might have to give one a try. Never too old to try something new. Now, if I can only find a dealer!
As far as Italian bikes, I have owned a ducati 860, moto morini 500 camel, laverda 3cl 1000, cagiva 650, and currently have a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 and a 2013 Moto Guzzi Stone 750. Have owned several German bikes to include BMW and Zundapps. Grew up with British bikes--meaning Triumph and BSA. Have never been interested in Harley. Owned several Suzuki's to include 2-stroke models and the Wankel rotary 500. The Moto Guzzis have been my favorite above all the rest. Quirky, reliable, tractor-like in that the Japanese "refinement" is not there--but if you love just being connected to machinery and sound--Moto Guzzi!--mike battle
I enjoy the K, have had her 20 years come this April, only around 44ish thou on clock genuine. Have every MOT from first. She’s in the se spec but thankfully not that white and blue colour , a nice gold flaked red metallic. A real luxury mile muncher. My first K was a very early K100 ‘A’ reg, 8 valve head not the later 16. I liked the style of the early naked’s headlamp nacelle etc.
Great story, thanks. Great real passion expressed. I too, love my V9 Roamer. Previously an '83 850 LeMans Mk3 owner. It had to be a Guzzi. Soul on two wheels . Cheers !😅
Thanks for watching, glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I love to own a Guzzi one day, have reviewed both the V7 Special and the V9 Bobber and absolutely loved them both. I’ve got the V100 on loan from Motoguzzi in a few weeks, really looking forward to riding that bike
Love guzzis, had a v85tt, California 1100, sessantacinque gt, and a nuovo falcone which i still own. All great bike love the falcone and the v85tt. Fancy a v9 bobber next
Good chat mate. I had a Guzzi 750 S. The first model without the linked brakes. Black with red stripe on the tank. Magnificent! Greetings from South Australia. 🦘🦘🍺🍺
Shall see how we go with that. Should be able to get another V7 and new T100 to check out and do a comparison. Based on my experience with the older T100, air cooled, I’d take the Guzzi V7
Interesting… out of my bike history I rate the zzr600 as one of the best bikes I owned, after the guzzis of course, and I’d take it over the zzr1100 I owned as well.
