The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. I was telling a young man in vietnam, who is establishing a sanctuary for injured , and orphaned baby monkeys, about your feeding cages and how they work. I mentioned the Vervet Forest, and I received numerous comments back from people who loved your organization and only had good things to say about you. The word is out and I encourage others to keep spreading it. You guys rock the baby monkey world.

I so look forward to Thursdays! This is my favorite channel. I may be able to volunteer by next baby season, fingers crossed. You guys do such great work here. I'm able to become a member now and have always supported you with prayers and my whole heart, and with likes, shares and comments, too. It restores my faith in humanity to see your hard work, love and dedication make a positive difference in the world. My heart is with all of you. Poor babies were so traumatized when they came in. Nice to see Fritz is no longer curling in on himself and looks to be healing nicely. I hope his arms will continue to get better and he has full use of them by the time he is introduced to a foster mom so he can grab a hold and snuggle with her. Nice job on taking care of all the sick and wounded. TLC goes a long way and you all rock it. 🙂

@Coty StiehlI am with you 100% on the abusers. I get so pissed off watching some of these channels, especially the ones who state they are loving and wonderful to their "baby". They are either ignorant or don't care and treat them like toys to be left alone when they don't want to play with them anymore. I, too, would go to prison for the acts I want to commit on these people. If I was rich and had mad ninja skills I would fly to those countries, rescue the monkey's, then kick the owner's asses. I'm sure I would be able to get plenty of people to help. Anyway, that's my rant. Lol. You have a great day also! 🙂

I wanted to report them but I never find a link where I can do it . One lady is really mean . I left a message telling her she was cruel & mean . I don’t watch there channel . Wonderful video! Love that the bandit came to ask for help, and none too soon! Poor babies have been through so much - and to be taking on more so late in the season! Wow! Bless those volunteers who are really giving their all for these little ones, all of them. Thank you, Dave, for the wonderful videos and for keeping us informed so thoroughly. Little Miss Aurora and Uncle Floki may have an argument about agendas - LOL one wants to give orders and one wants to protect - let's see how long this lasts! ~~ What will become of the bandit? Be placed back in Bandit population, or kept with the rescuees?

That is so weird, I was thinking the other day, what happens when a monkey that you have released, or the bandits, when they get injured or sick because you can not chase 700 monkey's at once. I absolutely love the fact that you guys take care of the Bandits as well when they are sick or injured. She probably knew you would help her and that's why she came into his cabin. They are all VERY lucky to have you to take care of them. Do you think you'll be getting many more orphans this season? I really do love these little guys so much, and all of you for having such big hearts. Every week, I just count down the days for a new video to come out! 💙💙

Jim I completely agree Floki is my absolute all time favorite 🤩, he has taken over this season with his big heart and love for the babies as well as his ability to overcome his set backs and find a way to strive and look amazing doing it his way with his adorable lil hop ❤️ and nothing beats his face when he drinks his beet juice out of a bowl and looks like he slaughtered a cow! Who couldn’t love him!! 😂 ❤️

Aurora really reminds me of Merlin from a couple years ago at VMF (sorry if spelled wrong) for the way he's so scared, puts his head down to hide his eyes as not to be seen because of no hiding places. Aurora will be just fine just like Merlin!

My former daughter-in-law was a Vet Tech and she was always amazed (she told me) at how resilient (non-human) animals are. The injuries that would have us whining and feeling sorry for ourselves are accommodated and worked around.

I held a family newborn last week. I did not realize I was lip smacking. It actually soothed the cranky tiny human. I am sure the baby was thinking" I better be quiet so I can get away from the crazy Iady

Sorry to bug you with this question, but I noticed that at 47:00 Yeliz has not yet met her foster Mum (or rather, her first attempt hadn't been successful b/c of clingy Dirkules)... but earlier, at 7:38 Yeliz is with her Mum (along with Dirkules). Is this just an editing issue, or was the earlier clip the first (unsuccessful) attempt for Yeliz to be with her Foster Mum? I only ask because Dirk looked like he was "hogging" all the attention, and I felt really bad for Yeliz. She looked like she wanted a cuddle, (at 8:35) but the Mums can only handle one clingy baby at a time. Anyhow, thank you so much for explaining everything to us- I've learned so much from knowing all of you. You guys are 100% dedicated and we are so grateful that you include us on your journey with these videos. Thanks again

When they are in the intro cages with their new Mums, sometimes they will all gather on a perch and sleep there together. That is really good for bonding.

The baby with the broken arm above the left wrist, is going to have to heal on it's own. That is going to be a bit painful if he uses that wrist a lot. That baby is a strong willed baby. He played and let them fix his arm and that was a strong baby. I think he will be a wonderful monkey as he gets older. God bless him. I hope he gets no other problems.

Damn, macaques and langurs must be VERY closely related cause the babies look practically identical, same woth baboons but the nose is a lot different, they act the same too (the babies I mean)

It appears to me that these monkeys constantly want to prove their independence but quickly learn that they need a mommy, supervision and know how. Do they have favorite colors or do they enjoy music? Does soft easy listening music calm or comfort them?

No, Vervets, like macaques, do not use their tails as a limb. It’s ancillary and not used for balancing, grabbing it swinging.
