I needed to hear this. Thank you :) It can be so hard getting caught up in the view count or the subscriber count. You're right, remembering WHY you are doing this is important.

Its so exciting to see you grow bit by bit. Your outlook, confidence and overall video quality is improving every video. On that note, one thing i learned the hardway is on the theme of you video which is "How do we measure success" and what i find is that success is such a complex idea for us to conceptualize so we try to trap it in quantifiable data like numbers. For example if you earn this much $$... if you weigh this much kg... if you have this many views per video... But thats the thing about numbers - they dont end and you fall into the trap you mentioned in this video. Instead I think its healthier to think success as how have you made a positive difference in the lives of those around. If we use that as our goal, we can see you are already succeeding because as mentioned here your videos have been an outlet for others, a place for them to not feel alone or to hear advice from someone a few steps ahead of them. So please dont give up or stop, your videos are making a difference to those of us who watch and whether its 2 views or 100 views those are people whose lives are changing because of you :)

I like your humble and authentic kind, someone I could sit down with and talk. I also have a small channel with kalimba music I record. If just one person feels better or relaxed after watching my video it was worth creating it. And in my opinion, a small fan community is more intimate and charming than a large one. If you have a lot of followers, you can't know every single one of them. With a modest group of subscribers, each name may mean something to you and you may even know some of them a little better. It really doesn't depend on large numbers and whoever is supposed to find your videos will find them. 💚 If you like soft Kalimba sounds, you are also very welcome to my little channel.
