I know, and with Happier playing in the background, just ugh, it makes it ten times sadder. Steve deserved so much better than Nancy. Jonathan does too. I just hope they can all find someone and be happy.
Even though I prefer Nancy with Johnathan, Steve is one of my favorite (if not my actual favorite) Stranger Things characters and I hate seeing him sad. I guess he was happier with Nancy, and he actually gave up a lot to be with her such as his friends, reputation and all of his past life. Steve’s character development showed just what he can be without his old friends’ bad influence, and how much he was willing to sacrifice and give to Nancy. He just wanted to see her be happy, and I think that even though he might feel a little jealous of Johnathan, at the end of the day I think he’s just happy to see Nancy smile.
I totally agree with you. I liked him from the very first season. I don't see anything terrible Steve could have done in the first season. I understand that he broke the camera. Everyone is talking about the fact that he broke the camera, but do not tell anyone that the one Jonathan was taking photos of them without their consent, especially when they kissed. this is not acceptable, let postovati yourself in the place of Steve and think about how would have done in his place. Nancy doesn't deserve Steve. Nancy dated one and went out with the other, and I don't think that's normal.
@@TheEnd-cv8nj exactly! I don't know why, but even in the start I never liked Nancy. It just didn't click. And in season two I just didn't care if she was on screen. The one and only thing I loved was when she danced with Dustin. That was adorable and so kind😊

I ship Nancy/Jonathan but also adore Steve as a character so this video was basically pure perfection. Perfect song, the editing breaks my heart in a million pieces, just really well done.
Steve loved Nancy so much. He knew he fucked up in season one, so he let her go and choose her own path. He waited for a whole freaking month until she came back, and he felt bad about what he did so he got Jonathan a camera. Then in season two he’s just balls deep in love with her, talking about waiting to go to college so he could be there when she graduates and kissing her and saying he missed her after not being with her for an hour. Then she has the audacity to call him bullshit and their love bullshit, when Steve put his heart and soul into loving her. Then she goes and runs off with Jonathan and hooks up with him a few days later. No hate against Jonathon and Nancy, I love them to bits, but I just believe that Steve deserved better than what Nancy gave him.
Love doesn't have to be exclusive. You can love two and even more people at the same time, each individually without one love meaning less than the other. Each couple should find their own boundaries when it comes to their dynamic. Being in a relationship doesn't mean you can not fall in love with another person ♡
That's beautiful. However, I feel in this case it's a bit different. I wasn't too happy with Nancy and Steve at first. I think Steve took some stuff for granted during season 1 and when he lost her I think that was the point where he shaped up to be the man he's meant to be. He matured a lot and I think if he had a second chance with Nancy things would be different. Sometimes you need space to become the person that's deserving of your significant other's love. I truly think that.

eleven Jancy is adorable. I love Steve but not with Nancy... What Murray said was right. (In the scene where he makes them kind of confront their feelings and weaknesses) Johnathon has always liked Nancy and Nancy can even admit she liked him. She experimented with Steve and tried to make it real, but it wasn’t... Steve was kind of a jerk in season one and the beginning of season 2. When Nancy was grieving over Barb, he was a little bit dismissive while Johnathon was more comforting and understanding. Also, the detective type thing between Johnathon and Nancy is beautiful, solving things together. Both are similar yet different in the right ways: “shared trauma.”

So at first (in season one) I really shipped Jancy so much that I would practically die for it to happen. Steve didn’t seem too care that much for Nancy like he did himself, he may have LIKED her but not loved. Steve wasn’t that good of a boyfriend until we got to season two, everything changed. I could see how Steve changed into a better man and by this time had a heart made of gold and that’s when I started to ship them but as soon as I did Jancy finally became true. Of course I liked Jancy but not loved as I used to. And in the party scene (when Nancy and Steve went to that party in season 2) he cared for her and I could definitely tell he loved her. I could tell that he would give his life up for her in a second without a thought but Jonathan I feel like wouldn’t.. at least not yet. Then in the scene where he tells her it’s fine that your dating him broke my heart. Steve really did become a better person. It crushed me to see him like that then that’s when I knew my heart was for him. Of course I still ship Jancy but I feel my heart towards Steve, please don’t get mad at me. I hope you understand.
I agree with everything said here besides the Jonathan not dying for nancy... He still loved her as much as he did in season 1 but you know he had to keep it back because she was with steve so i think even though they werent together at the time Jonathat still wouldve taken a bullet for Nancy...
That parallel with Jonathan being in the car knowing Nancy and Steve are together by the end of Season 1 and Steve in the car knowing Nancy is happy with Jonathan in the end of Season 2 I AM CRYING I AM CRYING NOOOOOOOOO
amanda kenya no we’re not Nancy doesn’t deserve a guy like Steve and never will, Steve is a caring loving guy he was only mean to Jonathan because he was taking pictures of Steve and Nancy kissing and being a perv. He was protecting Nancy and she took advantage of that and broke his heart into pieces and didn’t even have the heart to tell him that she loves him. I hope she learns her lesson and realizes that she lost a great man. But until then she will keep breaking hearts and most likely she will break Jonathan’s heart ❤️ next 😢
I love that Steve let’s Nancy go like that, and that he is “happy” for her no matter what. But deep down in his heart he will never let her go and always remember her. That’s a true person 💖

I'm just saying (my opinion): Jonathan is SOOO underrated. I love every character, but I never see anything good about Jonathan. I don't see anything bad, don't get me wrong. It's almost like his character isn't noticed in the fandom. He cares so much for Will and Nancy and keeps himself sane to help his mother during a really tough time. He needs Nancy because every other girl doesn't except him. Nancy actually loves him for who he is. He is such a great character and is so caring. So is Steve and he is especially taking this all in pretty good compared to how I would. I get he is heartbroken but I'm sure there are other girls that would be a good match for him, but Jonathan fits PERFECTLY with Nancy. I love Stranger Things and I only started watching a couple days ago but I just wanted to get a message out.

steve/nancy/jonathan is my ot3 for life and they all need to just be happy together! but if i had to pick i'd say nancy/jonathan only because i think steve deserves better. he quickly became my favorite character this season (after el, because of course shes number one).

At first I was like oh it will be from Steve's pov because of the new season but then it started with jonathan and I was like oh...but then I realized it would probably switch half way through and it did! I shipped Jonathan and Nancy at first but after the 2nd season I shipped both Jancy and Stancy. Steve put up fights for her. Jonathan helped her a lot. It was two ships and we didnt know what harbour they would end up at.

Jonathan and Nancy are clearly in love with each other, they have been for a while. The only reason Nancy went back to Steve, was because she believed that Jonathan didn’t want to be with her. That’s why she waited for him, to see if he would make a move. But he never did, so she went back to Steve.

This whole Steve missing Nancy but Nancy being in love with Jonathan reminds me of Friends. Steve is Joey, in love with Rachel but can't get her and is heartbroken but eventually moves on (sort of). Jonathan is Ross, truly in love with Rachel and is underrated. Ross really needs Rachel because no one else appreciates him but Joey/Steve is a ladies man. Rachel is Nancy, loves both of them but feels more of a brother relationship with Joey and a love relationship with Ross. Just a thought/opinion but it seems accurate.

I think steve and nancy are endgame. I like nancy and jonathan more because to me they just have more chemistry but in s1 there was some kind of foreshadowing where jonathan tells nancy that she’ll just end up w someone whos in sales and live a perfect life in a cul de sac and in s2 steve talks about he can just work for his dad and sell insurance and watch over nancy. Its a tiny detail and could just be a misinterpretation but reality wise it kind of makes more sense. And in my opinion, steve loves her more and is willing to give up more and i dont really see him moving on from that anytime soon
ohmybell it was so forced :( I bet Stancy would've stayed if pressure wasn't put on the Duffer brothers to develop the Barb storyline and for Jancy to be a real thing. if people had stopped whining about Barb maybe it wouldn't have had to go down like this--they could've made Jancy happen without making Nancy look like a terrible person. that's my biggest complaint about season 2. all the ships were a bit forced tbh.

Its clear Steve still loves Nancy and when they broke up, Nancy was drunk and under a lot of pressure. That caused her to drunkly take it out on Steve. She didn't answer him when he said tell me u love me because she had feelings for Jonathan. That's because in season one all Steve cared about was invading Nancy's space. Notice how Nancy and Jonathan are only together in times of danger or emergency and never really make the time to just be together, well, when Steve and Nancy were together they always made time to be together even if there's no reason. It's none of their faults! Don't take it out on Steve or Nancy. In season 2 Steve changed, and if he acted in season 1 the way he acted in season 2, Nancy and Steve would've been together while Jonathan accepts that Steve and Nancy are meant to be and it's best that he gives up. Anyways, Jonathan moved away in S3 so in Season 4 I'm hoping that Nancy and Steve at least become Best Friends because after season one it feels like Nancy and Steve are so distant and that there is a part of both of them that misses each other. Even though in real life everyone knows Natalia(Nancy) and Charlie(Jonathan) are actually dating, I felt that this message had to get across. Especially those who say Nancy treated Steve like trash or Steve treated Nancy like trash. Because the human race wasn't created to be perfect. If you are still reading, thanks! Ik , Nancy and Jonathan are just boring. But when she was with Steve she was happier and had more fun then she has now. So sad to see Steve say its ok Nance. Cause it wasnt.
