In T2 he describes himself a CSM - 101 and so does Reese in The Terminator. According to the old Eterminator website the Franco Columbu Future Terminator was a CSM-108. The 600 series referred to by Reese was a T-600 which had rubber skin and therefore had no CSM number because it was an Android not a Cyborg.

I totally agree. I've tried the exact same thing, knocking on a window like that. It can make a noice sounding like it's metal hitting against glas, but in fact it's just your human hand.

Glass windoes don't change pitch when you tap harder, it only changes volume. To change pitch you'd have to change the sound frequency. You can change the frequency by changing the material you use to knock on the window (like changing it from knuckles to metal) or by knocking on a window of different size or thickness. As far as I can tell the guard knocked on different windows, so that is probably the reason for the alteration in pitch.

​@@forsterchurch6242 Well yea, if you hit the glass repeatedly and you do that fast enough (like 1000s of BPM), you'll produce a note with a pitch that corresponds to the rate at which you pound the glass. If you raise or lower that frequency the pitch will vary. But for each individual knock, the frequency will be a property of the medium (the constitution of your kuckles + the glass). The only reason the pitch would vary by you hitting the glass faster (harder) would perhaps be that a harder knock would send more energy into your bones, which resonate at a higher frequency than the skin on top of your knuckles. But all things equal a harder knock does not produce a different pitch. Test this out by grabbing a rock or something, and bang it on the pavement to the tune of your national anthem, and see if the harder bangs will get you higher up in the register (it does not). What it does is that it raises _amplitude_ but not _frequency._
