I like your way of cutting the bell peppers. You get a better ratio of bell pepper to meat and yes, you have to watch out or the meat sauce will get eaten before it ever makes it to the pepper boats. Delish!
Love the way you created the meat stuffing for the peppers. As your brother pointed out, he wasn't a fan of the peppers before but did like it this way. I was going to say you could use this filling wrapped up in your naan recipe, as a type of taco. BTW, it would be cool if you could get your whole family in a video eating food you created and have them each endorse one of their favorites (each a different recipe). Your family is so cool to come onto your channel and I look forward to seeing who you have each time.
Making this tomorrow! Can't wait! You're recipes are what's making it possible for me to stick to low carb! I can't thank you enough! ❤️ 😲 Just finished making the stuffing and I don't know if we'll have any left for the bell peppers! It's soooooo good!!!
Looks delicious 🤘All of the recipes you create look amazing though. I always enjoy watching you cook as well as watching you slay on stage 🤘 Is your brother a musician as well?
I think you’ll find that using the red peppers would work better for people that aren’t fans of bell peppers since they’re sweeter and don’t have as much “green” flavor. I can’t wait to try this!
Shome how can you not love bell peppers? Not a fan of the green ones, but the 3 other colors are fantastic. So of course I'm gonna make these pepper boats. Your cheese browning skill is superior! Mine never looks that good.
These must be amazing. My mom regularly made stuffed peppers with beef (not "beef") and rice, onions, salt, pepper. In tbe eastern Europe style. But with No cheese, garlic or ginger. And also stuffed cabbage with the same stuffing. No garlic!? My dad thought he was a vampire (he hated garlic), when he passed away, mom redid all the old recipes with tons of garlic, LOL. She missed him after 60+ years of marriage, but not in the kitchen.
My situation is somewhat similar. We have been married for 60 years. for most of those years my husband disliked a lot of things. The list is long and affected our kitchen too. Anyway, he has dementia now and can't remember what he didn't "like." He eats all of his dislikes now with relish. Really makes you wonder.
@@tribbles2955 yup. Or the television. He came from an era where the man was simply in charge, Archie Bunker was a role model or the victim not the object lesson. So the remote was his. He passes away, mom gets every streaming service under the sun.
Ghee is so under-rated in the US, thanks for posting ways to use this amazing fat to help educate those who have never used ghee before. Last week, I mentioned to you that these reminded me of my Grandma's Sicilian stuffed peppers, but your version looks awesome. My Grandma would also use her "stuffing" in stuffed cabbage, hint, hint... that would make a great Keto video. Thanks for another awesome video. HUGS. Ps, I literally gasped when I saw your pizza stone broken in half, I use mine for everything.
Oh that pizza stone is quite a story, Deepti was trying to pull it out of the box it came in and it slipped and flew out of her hands and broke right in two. This was the day we got it. We're still using it as best we can
@@HeadbangersKitchen I always look for stones at garage sales and thrift stores. One is for pizza and breads, the others are for sweet items. If we lived closer, I could bring one over.
Sahil I am embarrassed to say I spent MANY MANY years (decades) cutting the tops off bell peppers & standing them up!! Sometimes they would "mind" but mostly would wobble. Sometimes I would cut the rounded bottom pieces off a bit for stability but that would sometimes result in a hole & the filling would drip through. I also would use a smaller dish to "cram" them in there! BUT a few years ago I saw a recipe where they had cut them like this & it is SOOOOO much easier & tastes better too! I found a Keto "Lasagna" recipe that uses bell peppers & it is KICK-ASS!!!! Uses a meat/marinara mixture for the stuffing, then top with ricotta, mozzarella, & parm! SOOOO yummy! I want to try this recipe of yours next! And that is enough jibber jabber from me! lol Love Shome! (or did I misspell it?) TFS!!!!!
What a delicious looking recipe! I’ve made stuffed bell peppers many times but never Keto stuffed peppers. I will try this next time I make them. Also, please invite your brother to be in more of your videos. 😊😍
Hi Sahil! Ive been watching you for about a year but it is my first time writing. Why? Because you knocked it out of the park with this recipe!! I’ve made it twice now, once for guests and they loved it too. Thank you! So, so good. I had gathered the seasonings when you suggested them and was ready 😆🥰😋
Looks good except, what do you suggest to keep this vegetarian? Anyone try this with riced cauliflower or tempeh as a filling? Also sorry to be a grammar jerk, but, Sahil, I think you really meant to say “sumptuous” not “unctuous” . Means something totally different. Sorry but thought you may want to know.
I've made stuffed peppers for years and years but never like this. I can't wait to try this recipe. the different spices (to me) and the cream cheese will take it to a new level of deliciousness.
Ok Sahil....you've ruined me for any other stuffed peppers! These were by far the best, most flavorful stuffed peppers I've ever had. Even my non-keto husband loved them and said he's looking forward to having the leftovers again for dinner tomorrow. That's a sincere compliment coming from him!
You didn’t say buffalo meat and I’m offended. But you played an awesome outro…. So I’m fine. Based on this recipe, you can make an Indo-Irish Shepard’s Pie. Credit to Ethan Chlebowski who seems to have made it first.
Six years since I have seen your videos and this is the first time I find out you have a brother. So good when you bring family members to try out food. And I absolutely love Miso, what a great addition to your family! I used to be lazy and just put onions fried in some butter, mixed with some cream cheese as the stuffing (with spices and sriracha) and topped it with mozzarella/cheddar/Parmesan (or a combination) - ultimate lazy-ish snack but I love bell peppers so it’s also my favourite. This is a nice and easy way. I’m going to try this with lamb! Cheers and keep cooking!
I do this all the time but yours is obviously better lol. A quick skillet variant on this recipe when I don't wanna use the oven...dice the peppers up and add them in with the beef mixture, then serve your beef mixture over steamed cauliflower rice and top with cheese or even sour cream and diced green onions. Still really good and adds a bit more volume lol. I call them keto stuffed pepper bowls. =P
Loved the recipe and you and your brother are so handsome. Must confess, not wild about the hard rock music in the background a bit hard core for my old ears🤓
It's buffalo meat. I buy whatever is legal but my audience is primarily outside India so I don't say buff or buffalo because then I have to explain 1000 times what it is so just easier to say beef.
I’ll try this one. Love your unique videos and I liked your brother’s input. Handsome, funny and a detailed reviewer. The “hot, hot” few seconds made me laugh. Thank you!
I think you have a ***WINNER*** here! If one doesn't want to use the oven, the filling would work just as well spooned over some sort of low-carb rice or pasta substitute, like chopped cauliflower, then nuked for half a minute to melt some cheese on top. However it's done, those spices are what elevates this from "ho-hum" to "ooooooh, yeah!"
Sahil...I'll take a green bell pepper, please! Boy do those look good! Next week this will be one of my supper meals! YUM! It was so nice to see your brother, now, too, trying your recipe and giving his opinions. By the way...you have a very handsome brother, and family!...Sending love and hugs, Diana in Wisconsin...
Only saw this dish yesterday and had to try it today 10 mins ago. Unlike your brother "Sean", this Shawn adores bell peppers. Loved it with extra red chillies and will keep making this, bravo!!
I used to own a Rialta QD model. The common problem areas for leaking roofs are the joint between the cab and cabin shell (those joining screws loosen or just rust away) and the fore to aft roof seam on the cab roof. The 2 aluminum pieces tend to flex and separate. Many Rialta owners wind up using Eternabond tape along that entire seam to allow roof flexing without leaking. There are several active Rialta owners groups that post technical/restoration issues and solutions.
For a noketo version you can use cooked rice in the meat. Than you have a full dinner. My mum used to make it that way when I was a kid (about 40 y ago 🙈😂)
