The average salary for graduates in the UK is about £30,000, which means our budget's gotta be really specific. Having a plan as soon as you have some regular money coming in from a shiny new job is the BEST way to set yourself up in building solid money habits as you go on to get promoted, find new jobs and grow in your career. In this video I'll tell you how and why the 60/10/10/10/10 method is the perfect way to do that 😇

@Alice hey I just started it in august but as far as I know it’s just simple math no algebra you can still do it no matter you get a C or A . ACCA doesn’t consist anything like gcse math :)

@Alice ACCA finalist here... if you are comfortable with basic percentages and know how to use a calculator, you are good to go.

You've explained it really well! Any reason you didn't pick the 50/30/20 Rule?
@Devamsha
@Devamsha 2 года назад
I’m glad you think so! :) it was too broad for me. I like that with 60/10/10/10/10 I have more purpose with money. Of course if you’re not a control freak like me 50/30/20 works quite well too!!

A great way to keep your money is to not have consumer debt.

What if you’ve already built your emergency fund up? What would you allocate that 10% to?

Personally if I were in your position I’d put 20% to investments/asset building!
