@@mattd2026 the composition of LMNT looks almost identical to my reduced sodium salt but at 30x the price. Is there anything to it aside from sodium, potassium, magnesium and flavoring?
I had WLS almost 2 years ago. I was told to maintain at least 75g of protien a day. I currently consume 130g of protien which is almost double what's recommended. Not only did I lose the 100 lbs I needed to despite being told I wouldn't due to my PCOS.... I dont have hanging skin. I didn't lose muscle mass (I actually gained muscle), and I don't need the multi-vitamins I'm supposed to take. All my levels (except for iron) are in healthy, normal ranges. My kidney function is now normal. Liver function normal. And T2 diabetes is in remission. PROTIEN MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Liver is both rich in protein and iron. Alternatively, get it as paté if you don't like cooked/roasted liver. As a bonus, there is also a lot of vitamine A in liver, as well as B12, Riboflavin (B2) and copper. Pork, chicken, beef, lamb, goose or cod liver are all alternatives. ~100-110 gram of liver covers 33% of your needed iron intake.
Even if there was a point where there’s “too much protein.” Anyone that’s ever done a protein leveraged approach - and really pushed the protein - knows that in practice it’ll never happen. The satiety is too strong.
Dr. Gundry says too much animal protein elevates igf-1 levels leading to premature aging. He also says that the excess amount of the amino acid threonine in animal products leads to premature aging.
The regular Westerner generally eats enough protein. It’s the beige processed crap & corn syrup/added sugar that’s eaten along with it and lack of fibre/veggies that’s a bigger issue.
Remember back when vegan's and vegetarians were honest with themselves about how they need more protein cause they were lacking in protein and they knew that? Pepridge Farms remembers.
You can't expect vegans to change their own diets, but if they at least understand that meat is a healthy food they'll be less elitist when it comes to interferring with our diets.
While almost everything is true, there IS a big caveat to eating proteins. The mechanism is unclear, but populations with LOWER protein intake live LONGER (extreme examples are south Italy and Japan, where Glutamate consumption is high). In many animals studied, an increased protein diet markedly increased the "health" of the animals, whereas it decreased their lifespan. It has also been notorious that higher food intake decreases lifespan, vs lesser food intake.
Any chance you could make a video about gout? Isn’t it related to the overconsumption of meat? I love your channel btw, have watched it for years, very informative.
Proteins, fats, and large mass foods will make you feel very satiated. 1g of protein per pound of body weight a day, is what I shoot for (cause of cost), and sprinkle in some fruits and vegetables. Don't forget to supplement any deficiencies that you don't get in your daily diet, ideally you get ever meal naturally, space out proteins, fats, carbs etc evenly thought the day, and get some exercise! In no time you will be as healthy as a horse!
You're right about increased protein intake reducing cravings for other foods. I also noticed considerable benefit in muscle gain by adding Essential Amino Acids drink to my breakfast and lunch meals. Idk if you already covered the importance of leucine to trigger muscle synthesis and of consuming protein in larger blocks instead of spreading it over many smaller meals. Don Layman's interview with Peter Attia is goldmine of information on protein.
Isn't the argument on too much protein would be : its getting stored as carbs. The body cannot store backup protein so it gets turn into carbs for later. The keto diet is clear on this, in an effort to limit carb consumption you shouldn't eat too much protein. Doesn't mean its super harmful. And i dont know how those carb act on the body vs cheap carb.
Also don't forget 80 percent of it when eating beef as this video weirdly constantly shows goes to waste product nitrogen directly. It's called protein nitrogen ratio. Of course the body wants to make you stop in taking more if it's getting more and more full of waste. Of course the body makes you feel like you want to stop eating. A perfect recipe for malnutrition, kidney, liver but majorly thyroid issues which are to come next.
I love protein but eating too much makes me crave carbs, candy, and sugary things no matter how full I am. More protein may mean more satiety but it doesn't necessarily mean more satisfaction.
and what if i'm rarely hungry ? i eat (very little) just once a day. and even when i feel hungry, i don't really want to eat ( as in, i'm too lazy to eat) and hunger goes away rapidly.
I fast, I lift, I eat lots of protein. You're research has helped me deal with an autoimmune disease. Thanks for the information you continue to present to us
I can attest to this. I recently switched to a higher protein diet for the sake of building muscle, and I've gone from always being hungry to being consistently satiated. I've even been intermittent fasting and decreasing my portion sizes, and I'm still feeling incredible
Yet protein leverage hypothesis is just a hypothesis. In my opinion it's better to eat more easily convertible energy like carbs and fats, including fiber that will actually slow down digestion to satiete you for longer, and that wlll feed your gut microbiome that makes you feel hunger if it's hungry.
My parents constantly bulked out meals with carbs and a very limited amount of protein. Both of them are small and my mother is pre diabetic so had to change diet. I was always so hungry growing up and called greedy even though I was never overweight. Increasing protein had been super helpful but going to aim to hit higher levels now to get to optimum health
Optimum health is not achieved by eating more protein (I didn't watch the video, but... MEAT, right?). It's always been fruits & vegetables. Lack of them is why people are so hungry.
@@rickthebrick200 I first thought you were another person mocking rick. Any studies on fruit is really on adding fruit ON TOP OF A typical crappy western diet.
I'm convinced this guy is paid by the meat industry, or is a grifter trying to be some sort of Liver King replacement. All his recent videos are super biased basically to eat more meat.
Honestly i've been feeling this a lot lately. Along with rising food prices conbined with the already rediculous price of meat where i live i have been without quite a significant ammount of protein that i used to be able to eat and i've been feeling *significantly* more hungry on average. I've also gained a bit more body fat and been feeling a lot more tired during this period. Protein really is so important for us and here i stand learning it first hand.
I second this. I was eating a LOT of steak and eggs, with some various other sides thrown in. I felt great and I wasn't often hungry. As you said, everything is more expensive. I cut back and opted for less costly options most of the time. I don't think it's worth it. I'm more tired, more hungry, and less satisfied with my meals.
Buy a 10 lb bag of ON Whey Protein for $150. 149 servings...that's equivalent to 149 3 oz chicken breasts for .99 cents each. Easily get your protein numbers up and never be hungry. 2.5 scoops a day, 60 grams protein, will last you 60 days. Get the remainder protein from your usual diet and you should be well over 100-150 grams a day and your hunger hormone ghrelin will be non existent and will have plenty for muscle building.
I've had terrible body muscle weakness and pain my entire life; doctors say I have fibromyalgia or another muscle disease, and nothing works. It hurt to brush my teeth because my muscles were so weak. Sex equals body pain, and so on. clean the house with massive pain. Start going on a diet and eating a LOT of animal protein all day. Muscle pain gone, I got my life back. It's so simple, it makes me mad that it took so long to try this.
@@Ash_Wen-li I think my body, for some reason, has a hard time absorbing protein, and that causes a big muscle collapse. It must be something genetic because it happened to my brother and mother too. Eating a lot of animal protein fixes it. Sad to say, no doctor ever told me this; I had to try it myself.
I was diabetic. It really made me so mad . Why would they tell you to eat whole grains and fruit. So they could give you meds. And my family still thinks I am crazy for going low carb almost carnivore. I am off my meds . I feel you . I still am kinda pissed
@@lisagayhart2482 I was getting close to be diabetic. Started having weird body symptoms. And my doctor said that i am close. Then learned about Keto and tried it. A year later and i am as slim and healthy as i could be. I really think the "nutrition" lie with high carbs needs to die.
ONE THING YOU MISSED... every time people talk about protein ratio per body weight they never establish that it is based on a healthy body weight... If I am 250lbs but I really am meant to be about 150lbs I should calculate protein based on the 150 weight not the 250... everybody on here seems to just mention Xgrams per pound of body weight with no mention of excess weight and it is not that simple, so if you watched this and you need to lose 50-100-200 or more pounds you need to base it on the healthy body weight for your height and for most human beings that is likely to be some number under 200lbs when a man has a normal 15% body fat and a woman has around 20% give or take a couple of points.
Exactly. Your fat doesn't need protein at all. Additionally all protein you will eat above your body needs will be turned into suger and in the end into fat if that sugar will not be needed too.
except he just said there is no upper threshold for protein intake and as someone else pointed out, once you eat high protein, the satiety is self-limiting.
Always start the day with a 4-egg breakfast scrambled in animal fat. That'll satiate you throughout the day and tell you when you actually need lunch and how much
So tired of these videos with contradicting scientific backing. If you were unbiased you would also find tons of studies showing that eating more vegetables instead of protein is better for you. @@aleks.l394 Yes, he showed papers. But there are also tons of contradicting papers. When I was a kid I too couldn't maintain enough sodium. I was never diagnosed with a specific disease but I'd eat salt directly too just like that kid and my doctor at the time told me to take a minimum of a spoonful of salt every day. Eventually whatever it was disappeared when my hormones changed around the age of 19. (I had puberty related problems too.) So yeah, it's a real thing. I had chronic low blood sugar (I couldn't see when I'd stand up so I had to get up slow.), low blood pressure, and low sodium. Nurses who didn't understand it was a medical issue would complement my charts. I must have been the healthiest kid on the planet to them. lol.
It's probably what you eat and drink with that lean meat what makes you always hungry. Fat is the least satieting macronutrient, while protein is the most satieting one.
My wife was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. We realized that instead of learning all of these sometimes complicated rules for what she can and can't eat that just making sure whatever she ate had some protein made it a lot easier and she felt a lot less trapped by her diet. Making sure she was eating protein was enough to keep her blood sugar in check.
Do OMAD and carnevor. She will thrive like never before. Fast as long and as much as you can. And absolutely run from cabs and food industry. Frequency and composition of food is messed up.
I came out of keto after 3 years (and strides in my health and fitness) and one of my favorite meals since then is spaghetti and ground beef. I was making spaghetti like you would see in pictures online, with tons of garnish and only a handful of ground beef. My satiety levels were very low, always having snacks afterwards and between meals. Over a couple months I slowly upped the ground beef to pasta ratio, this was actually out of laziness to add less of other ingredients. But I noticed the more ground beef I added, the less likely I was to snack. I now eat a 1:1 ratio (cooked size, not by weight) of ground beef to pasta and I feel very satiated after meals, having stopped snacking entirely.
Gluten intolerant, so my options are weird when it comes to noodles. But before gluten-free alternatives got popular, I was really into rice bolognese (obvious substitution), heavy on the meat sauce.
Thank you. Finally someone is talking about low protein intake. Switching to a high protein die(75%) was low key life changing. I barely eat twice a day, yet i feel incredible
@southcoastinventors6583 in a perfect world I'd eat more beef. But it's mostly organic chicken, eggs, whole milk with whey protein isolate.(optimum nutrition). With either rice or grits. Protein takes a little more calories to digest, so some carbs goes a long way. I'll have wild caught fish about once a month. Beef about 2-3 times a week. I include eggs almost everyday.

*The scientific consensus is that higher protein intake leads to shorter lifespan*. You have a lot of subscribers and that power comes with responsibility that you clearly don't show. You should inform yourself better before spreading literally the opposite of what experts say who devote their life to researching this. Read for example "The Ratio of Macronutrients, Not Caloric Intake, Dictates Cardiometabolic Health, Aging, and Longevity in Ad Libitum-Fed Mice", or "Low protein intake is associated with a major reduction in IGF-1, cancer, and overall mortality in the 65 and younger but not older population". The list goes on.
It's really ridiculous. I've only tried to eat less protein for several days and I've already seen huge reduction in effects of IGF-1, mainly greasy skin. And I've been trying to eat more meat all this time...

what about the impact of protein on longevity? Most diet experts say protein is a big nono for longevity because it activates mTOR which then reduces telomere length. Thoughts?
Most "diet experts" are questionable. mTOR is just the latest vegan bogeyman. My longest-lived relatives made it into their 90s eating beef at every opportunity.
@@CaptainPIanet I hope whomever tracks longevity associated with various diets doesn't neglect low-carb, keto, and carnivore. Most studies are done at the behest of food manufacturers and/or drug companies, so I don't expect much.
It's fascinating how much of a difference the word "way" makes in terms of creating an emotional stimulus for clicking on this video. My son is autistic and I basically let him pick whatever he wants (within reason). There are days he wants only bread/pasta. Other days he will only eat meat. Sometimes it's a mix. It's nice to know we've both arrived at the same road when it comes to nutrition. Dr. Ted Naiman is the one I follow the most when it comes to healthy eating and I've lost 80 pounds following his protein leveraging guidelines. After a weight loss journey, I was ready to start regaining some mass (looked too lanky for my own standards) in the form of muscle. I was already in a low carb diet, but after doing some research, I raised the protein intake to the gold standard of 1g protein per pound of bodyweight (love mixing up measurement units), and damn! Since I'm currently in the volume gaining stage, at some points, I have to consciously make the effort to eat something because I'm aware I have yet to meet my maintenance +300 cals, if I'm hoping to get somewhere. Not hungry, sometimes not even cravings, consciously eat because "welp muscle gains will be slower otherwise". All thanks to real high protein intake.
Unfortunately the quality of our protein from animals has been going downhill. Your best bet is protein from vegetables but you just need so much more.
you typed this comment with comedic purpose, yet i can't help but be sad reading this, especially knowing everyone that upvoted it probably sympathized with your emotion. i used to sleep 4 hours a night and go without any protein for days in a row (just candy and chips). couple that with lack of hydration and a sedentary lifestyle, my body got absolutely trashed. my teenage years were spent in bed, depressed, suicidal, and unable to sleep. i am still working hard to fix all the damage i have caused, because it took me years to become like this, and it's not going to solve itself over night - but i can proudly say that i now sleep double the amount (8h) with quadruple its quality, and my life has improved tenfold. please do whatever is necessary to improve your sleep. sleeping is simply the most productive thing you can do. you can not neglect it without ruining your reality and everything it encompasses. andrew huberman has a bunch of episodes on sleep, that dive deep into how to fix it no matter how horrible it is. WhatI'veLearned himself has some episodes on it, if you scroll far enough into his older uploads. please fix your sleep no matter the cost, for the sake of everybody in your life, including you.
But if you are eating steak, ground beef and eggs everyday, then you are not buying any of the snack foods, bead, etc. I actually spend less on food bc I only eat twice a day.
I also heard about this recently from an episode of The Infinite Monkey Cage - that we eat until we've had enough protein - but they hinted that there was also such a thing as too much protein because of the increased cancer risk seen with the IGF-1 (Insulin-like growth factor 1). Have you heard of that and moreover, did any of the research you read address it?
Is that a real risk, or just a hypothetical one flogged by vegans? Because I haven't run across a cancer patient who is an avid meat eater. Quite the contrary lately.
Anabolic states triggered by any food increase cancer risk. Carbohydrates make you eat more and more often (keeping you in an anabolic state), while protein satiates and, to the degree that it replaces carbohydrates, robs most cancerous growths from their preferred energy source and makes it easy to stay near a catabolic state.
@@justjane1639 you haven’t run across a cancer patient who is an avid meat eater? Aren’t most people in the west where cancer rates are higher, avid meat eaters? I have literally seen so many stories, like verifiable stories of people who have had cancer and gone on a vegan diet and cured it. So much so that if that ever happens to me that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.
That hasn't been my experience--lately, I've encountered either vegans or people following a heavily-processed SAD diet. If I were diagnosed with cancer , I'd embrace a strict ketogenic diet with periodic fasting, going along with the metabolic theory of cancer, which emphasizes Otto Warburg's theory of cancer growth. I've seen people who have put their cancer in remission on the opposite of a vegan diet.
I'm currently on a 100% carnivore diet, usually a chunk of chuck steak, two or three eggs, and 2-3 pieces of bacon. And I rarely need anything other than water for 24 hours. Usually if I do get hungry I keep some pork rinds or sardines on standby as usually I'm only hungry enough for a snack. So I can confirm the studies and everything stated is not false at least to satiation and making me feel better. And usually whenever I crave something outside the diet it usually isn't something sweet and often I just add some salt to my water and it kills the craving. Oh and I actively lose weight while changing nothing else.
Protein is so satisfying because it renders the hunger hormone Ghrelin non existent so you "feel" full but can really be in a calorie deficit which is ideal for losing weight.
I see it's that time of the month for the crazy science meat man to convince me to eat more meat again. I'm not complaining by the way, I love these videos, but I feel like for every 1 video I watch on a topic like the science of language learning, there's at least 4 more on meat. Love it still, but not quite as much as this man loves his meat.
I consume less than 40g of protein typically, and over 120g of carbs, and I feel quite satiated throughout the day, but I bet a lot of that feeling comes from eating a lot of fiber rich foods.
Your body uses amino acids to build and repair muscles and bones and to make hormones and enzymes. You need more protein or else you will end up losing muscle/not being able to build it. Also carbohydrates have an ill health effect
@@napua5217 protein restriction can be beneficial for longevity, our body can adapt to a protein-restricted diet and recycle most of the protein through the activation of autophagy.
People don't listen to what marketers are flat out telling them, sometimes information hides in plain sight like how "I can't believe it's not butter" isn't butter, but a lot of people don't pay attention. In a similar way "processed food" isn't food, it started off as food, but it's processed. Poop is also 'processed food' as digestion is also a process. A lot of "processed food" has to have flavors added to make it taste like food again. If you wouldn't eat it without flavoring added you shouldn't be eating it at all.
Both of my parents are Mongols, my Mum says that she used to literally cook for my Dad to eat almost half a sheep or goat meat per day, and he's still a healthy warrior.
My protein go-to lately has been collagen peptides. You can add them to pretty much anything without altering the flavor or texture too much. But my favorite is just mixing them with a flavored electrolyte supplement and hydrating simultaneously.
collagen isn't a complete protein. In fact it has been widely used by cheap-protein powders makers to show high protein percentage but it's kinda tampering

Great video! You addressed my concern regarding too much intake of protein affecting kidneys. This is what we are taught by our parents that we shouldn't eat much protein or limit it. I felt that if you are exercising well, you need a lot of protein as mentioned in the video.
Re:salt, it is said that if something tastes salty, then you don't have a salt issue, if something salty doesn't taste salty, ie salt itself, then you need salt. During my fasting day, if I am tired at midday, a little salt, like a pinch, seems to resuscitate me somewhat and I consume a little before competitive sports where I am expecting to sweat a lot and I tend to maintain healthier competitive levels of activity. My anecdote ;)
Please address the point often raised that our body can only absorb 20-30g of protein in one sitting. Because it goes contrary to the practice of intermittent fasting.
Beware judging protein as a generic macronutrient. Not all proteins are the same, and most non-animal proteins are not close to the right amino acid balance, causing more to be converted to glucose than would be optimal. I aim for at least 35g animal protein (which turns out to be roughly 150g of meat or six eggs) in every meal. Usually, I'll get twice that, and often three times. It depends on context. Being diabetic, I generally need to get plenty of fat to keep my glucose from spiking and staying high, though. Lean meat is out except just after my workout, when I have sous vide shrimp or white fish (no oils.) I also seem to benefit from getting some fiber, such as cruciferous veg.
fiber is not needed. studies have shown people have less constipation without fiber. if u are on a zero carb diet u will do better. beef, salt, water. eggs, bacon. those are all I eat. I even cut out dairy and feel 10x better. I like feeling my best all the time so I dont eat veggies or gluten anymore.
Hey! You should create a video about Chris Palmers brain metabolism theory of mental illness. Would most likely be super helpful for lots of people, and I bet you’re familiar with his work. :)
you were oversimplifying the difference between steak and 2 big macs as one having more protein. The hunger you get soon after eating big macs is from the simple carbs, subsequent rise and collapse of blood sugar. That's not the same thing as the craving for what your body needs.
Ted Naiman's P:E diet book was one of the first that I read on diets. It certainly helped me on dieting and I still leverage the principles to this day. One thing I'm just not sure of though is how protein shakes fit into this. Protein shakes are super high in protein, but they're also not filling. Sometimes I've felt it's helped me push through a missed lunch, but other times I feel like I'm just taking in another 200 extra calories.

You should look at longevity studies instead of just body composition or exercise performance studies. High protein intake is strongly correlated with reduced life expectancy.
Keep in mind your body can only effectively absorb so much protein at once. Anything over 30-40g a sitting is going into your toilet. It might not be harmful to take in that ribeye, but it may be wasteful and not all that protein will count toward your daily target. You're better off eating half that ribeye now and the other half after a couple hours.
Yeah, that confuses me about people, who say a carnivore-ish diet is so satiating to them, they only eat once a day. Or two max. It does seem less than ideal, to consume massive amounts of protein all in one go. Personally I do keto with frequent carnivore meals sprinkled in...but if I overdo it, I just go into 'furnace mode'. My body just starts producing ridiculous amounts of heat ...to the point, that I can't sleep, if it's near my bedtime. Usually takes 2-3 hours to settle down again. Apparently my body likes to straight out turn excess protein into body heat.
I have always eaten a lot of meat and barely any carbs and people always asked me how I stay lean when it seems like I eat kilos of meat. Its because I get all the nutrients I need in about 2 meals and therefore I am not really hungry anymore to crave more.
Nothing like some clickbait off the get-go. So you are telling me that protein makes you fuller and yet there are studies shows for kids doing the opposite... Neat! Anyways, the thing that does tend to make you more 'full' is fat. Idk about you but eating nuts is really hard for me to eat tons of fat, or hell eating lots of chips.
It would be great if you could make a video on the difference of a rich protein diet for men and women, if there should be any. I wonder if there would be different needs for the body, mainly thinking about the hormone perspective. Are there any studies in that direction?
One concerning topic i feel you've brushed off to easy is about protein myths mainly about high protein diets being injurious to the kidneys, you've taken selective bias to one professor saying that there's no evidence of it compared to the numerous publications and research papers and meta analysis done by nephrologists studying high protein diets implications on the kidneys, it is a known fact that a high amount of proteins circulating in the blood can indeed cause a lot of stress on the kidneys and their protein filtering capabilities and over a long periods of time can cause damage to the podocytes which is essentially for nephrons to filter out proteins, that's why in acute settings of trauma or heavy bodily damage acute muscle necrosis causes acute kidney injury due to the large number of proteins and broken down amino acids that end up entering the blood stream, ofcourse people with pre existing renal disease should be cautious about their protein intake, even normal individuals are advised to only take around 0.8 to 1.2g of proteins per kg of body weight, solely cause of the long term effects it can have on your kidneys, just thought you brushed through this topic too lightly otherwise it was a great video :)

In your opinion at what point do we hit diminishing returns financially when it comes to protein. If I could afford to eat two steaks a day I probably would. So trying to find the balance between getting as much protein as possible but not spending 40 dollars a day on food.
Depends on your financial situation honestly. It's something I struggle with so that's why I go with the lower range of protein for my goals and the whole range is 1.2-2 grams per kilogram I eat around 100grams witch is 1.3grams per kilogram I think for my weight of 77kg or 170 pounds. And it consists not only of stake but different types of cheese , minced meat , pork steaks ,chicken breast or thighs ,oats with yogurt and some honey ,green peas alongside chicken ,eggs. Don't restrict yourself to the most expensive options just because they may the highest amount of protein. Look up on the internet foods that you like and how much protein they have per 100grams and see if you can use them too
Costco has grassfed ground beef in the freezer section depending on your location (sometimes grassfed burger patties instead). About 5$/lb near me, in line with other stores' sale prices. Pasture-raised eggs are 4.50 per doz at their cheapest for me, and I can get grassfed milk in a half gallon glass bottle for about 4-5$ + the deposit. Z Natural Foods has unflavored grassfed whey for pretty cheap (lasts a WHILE). Fresh and frozen organic bananas, blueberries, apples and so on round it out. I drink buttermilk and/or kefir as well, and kerrygold butter and cheese is grassfed too.
Depends on your body. You can every part of the animal and save the steak for once a day or week for the full nutrition. Plus you'll get sick of it after a while. lol Just make sure to add in your fats to balance things out. Your body'll know when enough is enough.
Might just be my case, but I used to eat close to 2.5/2.9g kg when I was bulking up and I felt like my stream of pee was much much lower and less powerful. I thought at the time it was because I was dumping 2 huge protein shakes (one when waking up and one before bed) into my body. When I stopped this (bulk was finished) my pee stream was back to normal.
Cool video that I'll definitely share with anyone skeptical of me going mostly carnivore. I'm losing weight, I have more energy, and I'm pretty sure it's helping with some genetic inflammation issues
Really informative video. Lately the algorithm’s been feeding me videos “debunking” your claims, mostly from vegan influencers. One of the most important points of this video is amino acids. When people increase their protein intake they actually feel and perform better, which in itself says a lot. It will be interesting to see the “debunking” responses to this video when they come out.
" wich itself says a lot" . Using steroids and many other drugs also make people "feel better" . Even sugar increases energy and gives euforia states - Debunking this video is easily found looking for the aproach of every longevity expert - not vegan proponents, but real longevity PhDs like Valter Longo, David Sinclair etc.
Longevity experts have likely not studied carnivores. I know many centenarians are omnivores. Nir Barzilai said at one time that he had never met a vegan or vegetarian old oldster.@@stefanisilva2493
@@szililolabu My grandpa lived 99 smoking since 15. Keith Richards is way more active then many elders his same age and used all kinds of drugs. It certainly means smoking and using drugs is healthy, isn't it?
