This is like if cops were able to start enforcing their "policy" as law on city streets. We don't tolerate this kind of judicial miscarriage by literally any other law enforcement agency or department, but somehow the ATF gets to just decide what is federally illegal.

Any restriction is by definition an INFRINGEMENT of the 2nd Amendment and the ONLY legal and constitutional way to alter any Amendment is via the Amendment Process. Not even the corrupt USSC has the authority to alter an Amendment. If the lying left and their scum of the earth lawyers [redundant] are correct and a court can alter an Amendment then why on earth did the Founders create the "Amendment Process"?

Congress hasn't and never voted on anything regarding this type of crap too. It's why I contacted my state senator last month when the new rule came out. Absolutely puts lives at risk. It's simple for the ATF because they decide what it is on the fly. One minute you are within the law, the next you are a felon for owning a semi-automatic and a shoe lace. Yes, the shoe lace decision was changed, but it was still stated by the ATF to be by policy.

But last month, the week of the 18th, on that Wednesday I think, the ATF was at the White House and announced their new rule. Then on Friday, as I mentioned all the details to my senator, the VP Harris also told the group, Mom's Demand Action, that they just had a "gun safety LAW" pass bipartisan! WTF? NO, never happened. Congress hasn't said anything about this really recently.
If OUR elected representatives did NOT vote on this then there is no rule, no law. AT most ANY regulatory agency should only advise our elected representatives as what they feel is needed legislation and the our representatives can vote up/down and be held accountable for those votes in the next election.
Thing is, the ATF ignored Congress, got advice on how to avoid all that for the new rule by a R rep from TX and then ended up doing their dog/pony show that WK of the 18th last month. They just did it. Congress had never been involved and that's how they prefer it. Anyone wanting to undo this crap they know it'll take years to.
