In todays video we replace the headliner in chomper my 2006 GMC Sierra crew cab! This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time! I am very happy with the results! 3m - amzn.to/46YMRgN
Came out absolutely killer. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Chomper can pull off just about anything and it just keeps getting better and better💪🏽
This looks great but a old school camo pattern would've looked so much better I think, more solid pattern and solid colors would've flowed well with the tan interior pieces
It’s kinda expensive but the 3M #76 High-Tack spray glue sticks headliner material really good. Redid 4th gen Camaro headliner years ago and was very little fuss getting it to stay stuck in the curves. The Max-5 looks amazing in that truck very nice
New headliner was one of the best upgrades for my cat eye. Sound deadened the roof at the same time. Now rain and hail don't bang on the roof. Love the content!
Headliner looks good! Get the weather tech floor mats!! Very nice and durable. You can get different colors to match what you have if you wanted to. Can get some for front and rear
tbh i have mixed opinions on the camo. but then again its YOUR truck so you should be able to do whatever you want to it 🤣. anyways lovin the content brother!
Now you need the seat covers back, also a dash cover and vinyl wrap then you’ll be set…i did all this the same camo to my 2015 silverado midnight edition, after seeing this I’m now going to do the headliner
I’m actualy a camo fan but not going to lie, not sure if I like it, would have loved to see a black suede or somthing. But it might be somthing that looks way better in person, from the passenger side shot i didn’t like it but then from the drivers side it looked a lot bitter to me, maby in person it slaps 🤝 Lmfscrew, eather way, we all appreciate you showing us how to do that, I have wondered how to take the headliner out for years you made it look easy 🙏
Get some seat covers to match it and it’ll look great. Although, I really like seat covers, I do like leather too, I mean who buys a truck with leather seats just to cover them up, maybe if they get older and worn
I agree. Awesome. Since I saw this in another of your videoos, I've been obsessed with the idea doing this camo for my 06 Suburban. Surprisingly it's been difficult to find that pattern for my captain chairs. Where did you get your seat covers? Were they custom sewn? Thanks so much and appreciating your content! (Found it, the seat video. Yay.)
I guess I came in a little late. I was just about to comment on a most recent video come swing by our Upholstery Shop in Trussville and we could get your headliner taken care of. Most recent video is replacing the headliner. Go figure. Lmao! 🤣
I looked up bc I also wanna do this and couldn’t find them willing to buy right now lol same exact interior on my cateye and my headliner doing the same thing
Been following the channel for a long time and watching all the builds I bought a black gmc like your 2022 and I just wreaked it going to work the other day and it really messed me up, back to the point I know it’s a long shot but what would it take to get chopper off your hands I been thinking about getting a RU-vid channel and I feel like this might would be a good place for me to start and you could still see her along the way and build thanks Hunter.
you didn’t show how you took apart the wires at the front of the headliner any tips on that because I’ve seen where people disconnected it from there fuse box
Great video! Im going to be doing this on my dads daily driver. Camo wouldnt look good for this vehicle. Im thinking going oem with the sand gray headliner or going for a black headliner
lmfscrew HEY Brother!!! Did you fold it in with the liner or out by a possible stretch of the liner???? But I am not a fan of the pattern design but I highly agree it is super clean but I now think doing the same to the 4 door panels would really really complete and complement the whole thing👍🤘
