Tbh honest this still confuses me on the canon gender of the protags. Like, are they all canonically females? Because so far I think only 3 was confirmed as female in Splatoon 3 since she defaults as a female

These little guys are gender-neutral characters with not a lot of personality but just enough for fans to latch on to them and give them some. Here is some fun facts about them: The one in the hat was or supposed to have a music career as a dj, the small one has never really watched tv before and is to busy doing extracurricular stuff, the one with the double circle in their eye's apparently has a resting bitch face, and the 14 year old...has smuggled an animal across the border of inkdia (this one might not be true and I just had a fever dream but hey who knows)
