I was amazed that he said without our quarterback. Was a linebacker playing Qb for them. If so the linebacker played better than Sheduer did for most of the season. I know Sheduer is going back to CU next year, but as of now his draft stock, is late 2nd, to early 3rd round.
Not to take away from Staub he played great but they also changed the offense style to play action majority of the game to reduce blitzing and pressure off the pass

No but what's an accomplishment is going back watching film and saying hmmm if there was not a holding penalty we would have made a touchdown and may have won, or watching film and saying wow if we hadn't gotten that false start penalty we would have been 10 yards from a touch down. Question is who is going to want to sign/transfer to Colorado next year after seeing the way this season ended? Alabama, Georgia, Washington, Florida State, Oregon, Texas, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan etc already have their new recruits signed for next year. Hate to be Debbie Downer here but I don't see a big upside to this team next year. But we'll see.

Not saying Shedeur isn’t talented, but the offense was much more consistent with the backup in there. He simply ran the offense, got the ball out on time into his playmakers hands, didn’t take any 15 yard sacks and just basically kept the team moving. No flash, no glitz, just a model of consistent play. LOT TO BE SAID FOR CONSISTENT PLAY!

Staub played really well. I’m glad he got his shot. Because now you got to see how the offense is so centered and revolved around sheduer which made the previous opponents’ job on defense that much easier. That trick play with jimmy throwing to Dylan for the TD, you’d never seen that happen in the regular season.
He's gonna try to get Staub out of that building now. Because everyone knows he can play now. Was at the Utah game, Deion was such a class act. He took his glasses off and shook Whittingham’s hand. He even cheered during our 4th Quarter “moment of loudness” for Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe. I’m not the biggest Colorado fan and I do think they were somewhat overhyped but Deion is going to make strides at CU. He’s a great coach if given the time and resources.
Northwestern went 1-11 in 2022 hired new coach went 7-5 that's a 6 game improvement. 1998 Hawaii 0-12 they hire June Jones 1999 9-4 that's a 9 game improvement.

Colorado was 10-4, in 2016. Other than 21/22, CU won at least 4 games per year. So even with all of Deion’s cuts and transfers they have the same record as 2 years ago.

He would not be good enough to start for Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, and the other power programs. Deion is going to overhaul the entire team this offseason, but I predict they won’t win more than 5 games next year. Keep in mind they were 10-4, in 2016. Also, other than last year, Colorado had won 4 games or more for the past 12 years. So his season was not a success, considering how many supposed big time recruits he brought to the team. It seems like if you call out the truth, you are considered a hater. I recognize how great Deion was as a player, and he has made Colorado football relevant again. So those are great achievements. But in my opinion, Deion is overrated as a coach, and his sons are overrated as players. One exception on the team is Travis Hunter, he is probably the best player in college football. If he stays another year with Colorado, it would be mistake. He needs to declare for the draft. I think he would easily be drafted in the top 5. There is no upside to going back to Colorado, they won’t won more then 5 games next year. You will hear the same rumblings from Deion next year after they go 4-8, or 5-7. I caution any borderline recruits considering Colorado. Does anybody recall he said he would replace the offensive line? Deion wants a full commitment from his players and coaches, but they are completely expandable to him. Did Deion fans see how he dispensed of the Offensive Coordinator? The OC got fired, because his son constantly held on to the ball for too long. As a result, both the offensive line, and the receivers looked bad. Deion has zero objectivity when it comes to his sons. When Shilo Sanders got ejected, he criticized the referees. I have never witnessed as a head coach make excuses for a players ejection. Deion is great at getting media attention, but I truly think he is not good as a coach. Deion reminds of Lavar Ball. He uses media to allow himself, and his sons to fake until they make it.
