So great to have men of a certain age being front and centre. I’m 51 and on my calisthenics journey for the last couple of years and loving it.

Imr 50 yrs old. Started calisthenics few years ago. My biggest problem is i start getting in great shape then get injured. I have been out for months now due to abdominal muscle tear from rollouts and pec tear from the rings. And I thought i was being careful to not over do it. Lesson learned. Thanks Daniel for having old guys i mean more mature (lol) guys like me on your channel.

If you have access to a sauna, it helps with recovery. Sometimes I use it to warm up as well. It is incredible. I am 47. I have an infrared sauna that plugs into a standard outlet in the USA. The temp gets up to 149 F.

Been watching Paul for over a year now. He’s fantastic ! I was expecting him to show up in the podcast eventually… heck I even voted for him when you raised the question on who we’d like to see on the podcast.

Amazing Podcast! I also discovered Paul from my own current pursuit of getting the HSPU. I 100% relate to his mindset of the 'one thing' also. It's amazing to see the collabs my two favorite calisthenics channels.

Regarding engagement on content, I've been doing internet tech stuff for 24 years. I can tell you posts on basic concepts get much more engagement than really in depth posts. This tracks well with what Paul said. Loads of people want to learn handstands. Much fewer people want to learn one arm hand balances etc. If you are looking for high engagement, focus on basics, and throw in some fancy stuff from time to time for your ego.

As well as inspirational in their own right, being in my mid 30s, these videos help give me confidence that I have loads of time left to enjoy callisthenics. Thanks so much guys.

Love your channel but could you please turn the automatic closed captions back on? I don't even understand why you would turn them off. They may not be perfect but they're better than none at all.

Wouldn't the Jefferson curl be dangerous for anyone with lumbar disk trouble? My back mobility is woeful because I injured my back many years ago and I had an episode of sciatica 4 years ago. Doing a bridge I can only just get my head off the ground.

Very inspiring and relatable for me as well - I'm 39 and starting a similar journey: handstands skills and mobility work, hoping to get press and HSPU one day. I've had some small successes so far and I can attest that it's indeed never too late to get started. PS. It would be great to hear an interview with @sidpaulson1 who is another handstand and mobility expert I really admire
