They're having so much fun recording this, you can hear them laughing in the background after Plant sings: "...and I have birds that siiiiiiing" the second time.

It was Lead 🎸 Jimmy on that THANG !! 😂

What I love about this song, you hear each individual showcased, not to mention Plant playing the harmonica. He’s amazing on the harmonica, & he only plays it in a couple songs. Love the blues feel, these guys always do the blues with soulful passion, but they love the blues. Plants amazing vocals, always perfect for any song genre they do. All four are the GOATS of their craft, together the GODS of music.

I was born April 1954. The same month/year as Rock N Roll. I grew up with the Greatest Music In History. “The Beatles” Changed everything forever. The 60s set the table for the 70s and the early 80s and we all thrived on the best bands ever making incredible music, before it all started to go Digital with forms of noise I refuse to call music.

A Solo on Hammond B3 Organ by John Paul Jones, then a Harmonica solo by Robert Plant, then Guitar solo by Jimmy Page while the entire song is a Drum Solo by John "Bonzo" Bonham.... nuf said.

That was Page on guitar. He played both lead and rhythm guitar, no easy feat to do smoothly, but Page is a master.
@Fred-gv3kh
It was the electric guitar at the end, that was doing call and response with Robert Plant's vocals. Page and Plant did that a lot, and Page and Bonham (the drummer) played off of one another all the time also--possibly the most connected electric guitar and bass player ever to play together (imo). They just fed off one another... you've probably figured this out by now since you've listened to a few of their albums already by the time I got to this. Glad to see you're enjoying them!! Dazed and Confused next.... that should be fun. LOL

Hi, I have just discovered you with your Beatle reaction. I am so happy you are discovering real music. I am 72 years old and have seen some great concerts in my years, and if you continue on this road you will find that the 60's and 70's were absolutely the greatest time for music. I enjoy that you do not interrupt the song. You are moving through Queen and Led Zepplin which is great but you really need to move around a bit. Some suggestions; Jethro Tull, Yes, David Bowie, Elton John, Heart, Alice Cooper and of course The Beatles.
