Hi Ellen, I never realized my iPhone had a Magnifier included. This will be a great help the next time I forget my reading glasses at a restaurant. Thanks
Hi Ellen, well, I thought I already new this but nope - there is always something new to learn with Ellen. :). Thank you for all these tips and tricks. I love that you speak so slowly and clearly. I don't need that yet and I do know how to slow down a video speed but I think you take great care to cater to all of us lovely oldies. Have a great weekend.
Just wait for iOS 18 update later this year. If the stories are legit the control center is going to get a huge makeover and that will be fun to learn, huh? Keep up the great work! What is your most used control center feature? Mine is probably announce notifications
Great video, picked up a couple of tips! I find assistive touch really useful. It has its own menu and you can add a link to the control centre from there plus other useful things like restart and screenshot, I sometimes have problems swiping down to enable the control centre. With the assistive touch enabled you see a small dot on the screen that you just have to touch.
Excellent video once again. Just one comment which might be useful for others, on my iphone I have to swipe up from the bottom to open the contol centre. It took me a while to accidentally find that out 😂.
Excellent video. I found the magnifier function useful when using the camera. However, I have difficulty in cancelling the magnification function when using the camera? Advice please…
I’m not quite sure I understand Paul’s Fish room but the camera and magnification are separate apps. So to leave the magnifier just swipe it up and away like any app. If I don’t understand the question let me know. Hope that helps!
@@EllensTipsForiOS the problem seems to be that I opened the app while using the camera and I thought that the app just gave additional functionality to the camera app. At first I didn’t realise that the app was separate from the camera. Still a useful app but not as useful as I first thought. Thanks for your reply 🤓👍
Hi Mickey! It’s saved in the Memos app. You can export it to another folder if you want to. You can also share voice memos via text or email. Hope that helps.
I have latest IOS update but if I swipe from upper right corner the control centre does not appear. You get notifications. What is required is to swipe from the bottom. What’s going on?
