she later married Mr. Larry Fowler, they had a daughter whom they named Amy. Despite her strict upbringing, her daughter became a brilliant neurobiologist and even won a Nobel together with her husband.
Yeah, this kinda scenario is one of those "doesn't work nearly as well now that we have ubiquitous GPS"... while I still try to do due diligence in figuring out basically where I'm driving before I'm in the thick of it, I even have an "offline" GPS app on my phone to compliment Google Maps, which actually did get me out of a jam once when I was lost in some scary backroads somehow outside of any service area. Even though in the US especially, it's become rarer and rarer to not have some kind of data service. Even my grandmother's dead coal town that's an hour away from the nearest major city has 5G now. Cellphone coverage in general is also "ruining" a lot of horror movie premises.
I swear, my friend and I were watching this movie and he was chuckling at some parts, but when that car slipped off the cliff, he burst out laughing and somehow ended up all the way in the kitchen. By the time he stopped, his cheeks were drenched with tears. It was really something 🤣🤣🤣
Whenever asked what my favorite comedic movie is, hands down this one comes up😂😂 Kathy Bates is one of the most versatile, talented actresses! She can go from psychotic to timidly kind hearted from film to film
Kathy Bates plays crazy like nobody's business - she's a national treasure. A shame this picture so under-performed at the box office, it's really very funny. I've practically worn out my DVD copy.
Sent this clip to my my ex-wife for her birthday today. When this movie first came out, we were newly married and watched it. Yo, we laughed together so hard when we watched it back then. She totally forgot about this until Sent this clip. She laughed so hard today and couldn’t believe it! During many rough times of our marriage, but this was one of the bright spots.
I guess that squirrel lady punishes everyone who refuses to buy a squirrel by making them drive off that cliff and to die. But if anyone does buy a squirrel, she will give them proper directions.
Lanei Chapman, the woman with Whoopi, was funny too. They worked so well together. I have not seen much of her since. Great scene. Rat Race reminded me of the slapstick in It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World movie from 1963.
Can’t really blame all those people for not buying a squirrel. They really don’t make good pets. And ain’t it illegal in most places in the states to keep a wild animal?!
Today I realized I had a flat tire after a coworker offered to sell me some tires. And the first thing I could think of was "You. Should. Have. Bought. A. Squirrel."
Michael Serota: I had a white one like this. It was a boat with a 4-banger in it. Flacid at best. But the design back then was pretty cool for a Dodge.
I agree with you, but what if she sends us to the shortcut anyway? She’s a psychopath, after all. I think it will be better figure out the right path by ourselves 😹😹😹😹🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Som crazy lady leads people into a death-plunge down the mountain for not buying squirrels from her. It's actually kinda scary. This lady DEFINETLY used to work for PETA
Can please someone recommending to me similar hilarious road trip comedies like this? They are so fun. I just watched Cannonball run, Road Trip, Midnight Run, Smokey and The bandits, Planes trains and Automobiles, Tommy Boy, Due date, National lampoon's vacation but I just need more and more of this, I love this genre of comedy
@@tylove7992 No because this is the same as telling a child you can cross the street without looking both ways. Like a child they don’t know any better because they don’t live here. She’s fully aware that she sending them to what will most likely be their death. So she’s fully accountable for it.
about over plus 17 cars now including the green ford, But if you don't include the dead bodies at the same time so their would be a different amount hits.
